Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulDo not rent trucks from this location. This place is an absolute joke. We had to rent 2 U-Haul trucks recently and the owner is so rude. Unfortunately, that is not the worst part - he doesn’t take any responsibility for the services he offers at all and he overcharges. We made the mistake of filling the tank way more than we needed to in the first 15 foot truck. He had the audacity to rudely remind us to make sure we fill the second one properly less than a week later accusing us of not doing so after we mentioned we actually left more in the tank. Both times, he took forever to serve us and would stop to serve all of his other customers in between. The second time, we left about an hour later than our booking because of multiple “system issues” and other customers that came in after us and then he charged us late fees for an extra hour for being 20 mins late from our original booking time on returning. This happened both times. This contradicts what his wife told us explicitly on the phone both in that they would accept a family members credit card over the phone AND that they wouldn’t charge extra if it was less than 30 mins late than the original booking. So we got multiple extra charges for no fault of our own and just had the worst customer service possible. The least of it all, the truck was very dirty. Read the other reviews. He loves to power trip over people and not actually fulfill all the services he offers while scamming and making up rules. Once again, avoid at all costs and go further, it will be worth the drive and you’ll likely save yourself way more money and headaches.

She would not give me a receipt upon checking in the vehicle on saturday Only after calling uhaul nova Scotia and returning to the location on Monday did I get a receipt. Also, I heard her on the phone with uhaul on Monday reporting a stolen vehicle. I noticed the vehicle i returned Saturday was not in the parking lot on Monday. And the receipt I received Monday indicated I returned the vehicle Saturday after 5pm. I returned the vehicle at 2pm. I was charged an exra day +CDW which I did not request.
