I rented a van last Friday from the 447 Southern Artery Quincy MA location, and I rec'd excellent service from the attendant. I was moving my daughter into her college apartment and it was delayed a day, so I had to keep the van an extra day. Being this is a very busy moving day for local colleges, the attendant was very helpful securing the van for an additional day. He made numerous attempts on securing the extra day, and eventually was successful. I don't recall his name, but he deserves a pat on the back! Sincerely, Ed Graziano

This location ttys to take advantage of the unknowing consumer. First I was told I need commercial insurance to rent a van. Second when I returned the van. He told me I had to fill the tank. I had already filled it.past the F line. He asked me for a reicept. Third the guy tryed to over charge me on the mileage. He stated that I put 113 miles on the van. I googled my trip. It came out to 34 miles each way. That's 68 plus say 7 odd miles that's 75 . question is how did he get 113 Please contact this theif. Make him stop stealing from customers. Eric Sumner 781786 1100

I had used this location a year ago and had a great first-time experience. This time it was a Saturday move and a 12pm pick-up. The pick-up was five minutes late, but I had gotten there early, and the front said this was a possibility. I wasn't in a big rush either. The service desk folk were still polite and great. The first time I had a newer model, slightly larger van, but this time we got the older, smaller model. The size wasn't an issue, but I was disappointed to find that the van floor was pretty dusty and full of pebbles, dead leaf slivers, and sand grits. Interior smelled a bit funky, too. Returning the van was hassle-free. I drove 30 miles into Boston and back, and the total cost was within my estimates (60ish bucks). An overall great 2nd experience - just wish the vans were a bit cleaner.

It was not the location that was the issue. The customer service here was great! However, the uhaul computer program was not working properly. I was at the location for 2 hours trying obtain the contract so I could rent the uhaul. It was a Monday. I cannot imagine the mayhem that would occur if this happened on a Saturday or Sunday. Uhaul needs to fix this program ASAP!

It's just too expensive due to mileage costs. It used to be you could go to uhaul and fo it yourself, save some money. With rental and insurance costs plus the cost of gasoline, in our situation paying a mover would have been cheaper. We didn't like the way there were no belts to secure furniture.

I missed checking mileage before starting the vehicle and I think the mileage on paper and actual was different. I went to Ikea from the location and came back. I do no think return trip could be of 32 miles

I was told that an alternate drop off would save me over $70 and was instructed to call customer service when I was ready to drop my U-haul off. When I did so, I was told that I was not able to change my drop off after I signed my contract.

This location try to overcharge my credit card to start. When I returned the equipment they took my credit card to put gas on the equipment. I’m addition they made 2 charges to my credit card. The area was not clean as the UHaul desk is inside an auto shop.
