The location in Prattville was not an issue. U-Haul the company was the biggest mistake I made in choosing a place to rent a moving truck. I did not know that choosing a place to pick up a truck would not actually be the place where I would pick it up and for the time I selected. I was furious finding out that information. So I changed my location and time to a place that ended up being closed when I went to pick it up. I was forced to go with the in-town moving option in renting a truck which cost me more than I originally had with my reservation. Not to mention I drove to a closed site that was over an hour round trip out of my way to get a truck. I honestly believe that U-Haul should credit me for the run around and sending me to a place that was closed to pick up a truck. The U-Haul system is a joke and completely bogus! I would really appreciate someone contact me before I have to contact people in management, and I would also appreciate a credit to my card for sending me all over the world after confirming the place and time over the phone the day before!

Where I rented my vehicle it was a very good experience. The reservation process was an absolute failure. I made my reservation way in advance. The day before I picked my truck, the location was switched to another location, to a different time for pick up, and size of truck size. I called to confirm pick-up and learned the business was closed, owner on vacation, and no truck on the lot. I personally had to find by myself another location to get a new truck, and new equipment by myself. The business that was supposed to serve me did not know of my reservation, did not help me at all with a new truck, I had to apologize to my helpers, they even used their own trailers to pull my furniture.because I ran out of room on the truck. I had to go with a two way instead of a one way truck. The store where I originally reserved m truck saved the day, got me a good truck, and helped me in every way. I commend them for what they did for me!!! U haul should have confirmed with the business that they opened for business, an owner to serve me, and a truck wad on their lot BEFORE making a reservation with me. I would like a customer service representative to contact me ASAP. 318 393 6663

You might have the truck I need when I needed it and not tell me when I get there and drive for two hours that there’s no truck available when I had a crew waiting because I had a truck reserved. You double the cost of the job for labor standing around with hands in pockets. Next time I will call hertz

Nothing to improve. Just wanted to let you know all 3 gentlemen there on pick up/return day were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Also, that is the CLEANEST PUBLIC BATHROOM that I have ever been too!!! EXCELLENT JOB!!!!

My only concern was the price quoted to me was not the price they had and it had to be adjusted. Also, we requested a 19-foot truck on May 19 for June 8-9 use and we could only get either a 15-foot truck (too small) or 26-foot truck (way too large). I got the 26-footer at reduced cost but it required $107 in gas expense and was also much too large for the task needed. With that much advance notice, I would think it is reasonable to expect to have the size truck ordered to be available

Rented appliance dolly. That worked just fine. When I was finished with it, I returned it and continued to move my belongings. The storage facility was "out of service" from what I was told was a lightning strike. So the front door was unlocked and open for customers to gain access to their property. Well as I was unloading my unit, I was locked inside the building with no way out and no one in the office. I had my truck and trailer parked at the front door loading it and whatever mindless moron they hired decided to lock me in without letting anyone inside know. The police had to call a key holder to let me out. then it gets even worse. The employee there decided to just leave me standing outside with no way to get in with 3 carts of my property and my unit open. He just got in his car and left. I was told that someone would be there MONDAY to unlock it and my stuff would be fine. This is on a SATURDAY NIGHT. The manager refused to come to the business and refused calls from the alarm company. I cannot get my stuff out fast enough! I will not give that U-Haul company another dime if possible. Here are my suggestions to improve: FIRE the manager who refused to try and open the door or even call a locksmith for help. FIRE the idiot who decided to lock someone inside the building without notice and then just leave the property leaving someone outside just looking at his property. This place is near a military base that regularly deploys and I have let them know to store their property elsewhere. The type of customer service I experienced was horrible and wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

I went to the wrong location for pickup because I clicked the wrong one when reserving the truck online. Dixie was extremely helpful and amazing at her job. She allowed me to get my truck from her location. she told me I had to get my trailer from the location I reserved it online. That location was not a pleasant experience. They did not have the trailer I reserved. they told me I had to go to the next town to get the trailer I needed. That was 25 miles out of my way in the wrong direction. I couldn't or did not want to do that. All he said was I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. I made this reservation way in advance and the equipment was not there. I was mad and very unhappy. I decided to drive back to the location where I rented the truck. Dixie helped me get a trailer so I would not have to drive out of my way and waste my time packing and loading the truck. Her attitude was very awesome and actually calmed me down. She is an excellent employee. she works at 1221 S Memorial Dr Prattville, Al 36067. I was very please with her and the way she handled everything. As far as the other location, I'm very disappointed that the equipment that I reserved online was not at this location and ready for me to pick up. I was moving from Alabama to Kentucky and the time window was very short. This made things very stressful and tense.

Increase staffing ... Friday before Memorial Day there was only one staffer on duty dealing manfully with a long line of customers. This was not the employee's fault, it is his employer's fault.
