I called U-Haul already but got no response. I have moved 4 times and always used U-Haul. I will never use U-Haul again after this experience.

A little more communication from the contact person who gave me the keys would be helpful. I felt a little uneasy as to the simplicity of it all. It was almost "too efficient".
The person who was supposed to be there at 7 o'clock to give me my truck was not scheduled to be in between 730 and eight. The person there a nice man named Base ( deserves a big thank you) said he would make phone calls to see what he could get done for me. 40 minutes later he came up with a key for me and I took the truck I was instructed to. However when I got to turn the truck in and Long Island it was discovered I had taken the wrong truck. This resulted in another delay of my day Of about 30 minutes. The people on Long Island are very helpful and I'm still not sure if all the charges are going to be correct. On a scale of 1 to 10 I get my experience about five.
I still have not received my receipt from when I paid at this location. Please send immediately
A little more hands on service would be helpful. The clerk was by herself and was constantly helping customers at the gas station / convenience store where I picked up the rental van. So she was not able to expedite my rental Or address any concerns that I had.
No one was there to return the truck to the guy behind the counter when I went IN said just back it up and bring me the key. Meanwhile we had just filled it there on their property (this location was a Mobil gas station) when I said to him can you please come out and inspect it and check the gas he said do t worry about it you're good I'll email you the receipt. I asked him to signed the contract that they gave me at the pick up location and he refused. I took a picture showing the the truck was there Incase they tried to say I didn't return it and left. Today I called this morning and advised them I didn't receive an email yet and the girl said she doesn't do uhaul and would have to call her boss and find out. She would call me back. 6hrs later she still hadn't called so I called back a different girl answered and was really blowing me off said don't worry about it what your name and I'll cancel your reservation. I said I'm not calling to cancel I want my email receipt showing I returned the truck. She said when I get to it I'll email you. So now I get an email and they are charging me $6.90 for fuel sale doesn't say how many gallons nothing just fuel sale?? It's not necessarily the money it's the point of how it was handled. If I owed additional fuel charge I could have done it while I was there at the pump. If you would like to call me I would be more than willing to discuss this matter 914 274 7068. overall excellent experience
The truck was parked under a tree which birds had there way with the with the windshield. The sap and dirt from the tree and birds made a mess. I had to clean it up before driving to Wilmington. Never using the app before so I didn't click no to was the vehicle clean. Everything else was fine.
Hard to rate as the people at the location were lovely and trying to be helpful. Unfortunately, while waiting to get on the phone with a non-existent "customer service" representative, we had to wait until the owner/manager (?) came to the store to help us out.
No one asked for my license or credit card. I was provided not paperwork. The mileage was off; The gas was off. I spent over an hour on the phone yesterday trying to get the mess your company created, resolved. I was billed at last count $134
This location needs to check the equipment before renting to the next customer for cleanliness! Also, their needs to be better communication between Uhaul & it's customers when using the self service option in the case of an issue as in my case. I've used the option before & was pleased but this time I was extremely disappointed!
The mobile self check in was amazing however the truck was loaded with bird poop when I picked it up! The interior was pretty clean so I guess the truck was ok. This mobile self check in & out is pure genius; it took the stress out of that long process of waiting in-store. Thumbs up for that Uhaul!
Deal was for 19.99. Plus .79 per mile ... thru internet. Plus 9.00 coverage . Just incase.. just look at my receipt was charge 74.98.. i had it for 2 hrs only and drove less the 27 miles . And had to put 13.78. In gas and the marker was not in correct spot. It was at half tank. Not in between three quarters in half. Im waiting for gim to correct the price if not ibwill be contacting bbb about this plus and uhaul company to help assist.
