Your manager was efficient and courteous and we once again enjoyed renting a moving van from your company..Very nice office. You should have an assistant when a female is staffing the office especially since we saw a man talking loudly to himself while walking just outside your store...creepy and unsafe for your lone female staff!!

Return my 17’ truck forgot something in it on dash turned around less than 30 minutes to retrieve the items and they re rented the truck without servicing or cleaning So I spent an over hour tracking down the truck

When picking up the rental, the young lady behind the counter was amazing, efficient and pleasant, however, she was the only one working on a Saturday and I had to wait online for over 30 minutes. When returning the rental my experience worsened. The young men working locked the doors earlier than closing time. When they reluctantly let myself and another customer in, they took forever to accept the rental back, they didn't seem to know what they were doing and they were mostly just talking amongst themselves. Very unprofessional.

I am still waiting for a response to my complaint relative to being charged for an extra day of rental. I have requested a review of the phone conversation last Friday morning doing which I was told that I would not incur an extra day of charge if I returned my truck by 7pm that day. Please respond directly to this complaint rather than just by forwarding me a copy of the contract.

I signed up for rapid check-in via my cell phone, but it would not work. We spent an extra half hour or so trying to figure things out. Johanna, who fortunately was inside, was able to help us, but even she had trouble at first. And get this -- she saw that I HAD properly uploaded the driver's license and therefore SHOULD have been able to check in by phone. Apparently this is a recurring issue, and it really really REALLY annoys me that we spent so much extra time there, putting us behind schedule on an already busy day. That said, Johanna was terrific. Oh, and the truck's left headlight was out. We didn't notice this until we were on the road and another car in our party saw it. Good thing we weren't traveling at night. Seems to me a pretty basic check by U-Haul personnel to be sure the lights all work before sending the truck back out

The sad part is, you are asking me only about this location, not about the run around we got before being sent to this location. The rest of it was a JOKE. We reserved a 15 ft truck for Linden location on Saturday AM, only to be called the day before and being told there wasn't one. Then we are referred to Rahway but we can't have it until noon. We get there and there are people there who had been waiting since 9am. (not the fault of the guy at the site, but his employee never showed up for work). He gets there and is trying to help everyone. We were there over 1 1/2 hours and the truck we were to get never returned. So he checked and found us a one way rental in Plainfield. This completely screwed up our entire day. The people that were to help us unload at the destination were then not able to help. And I know at least one other person there that day had same issue. The Plainfield location was awesome. We were in and out in 20 minutes. I'm not sure what the solution is, but when people reserve a truck, they should be able to get the truck when promised, and the size promised.

I was told that the van I rented had a broken window, I explained that I didn’t cause the window to be broken, the associate told me that I should check the vehicle before I leave, I said next tome I will , and that I didn’t do it , I was a little upset but next time I’ll do a visual for myself
