My rental was through the 2nd of April, but I didn't need it for that long and wanted to drop the truck off at the location given to me. When I arrived at the drop off location I found that there was no key drop off for after hours. I had to go to the Fair Lane location. I have never had such a frustrating experience with Uhaul before. After my next rental this week, I am unsure if I will continue renting from Uhaul.

We did not need to use the uhaul for 2 1/2 days like we thought and returned it earlier then scheduled (within 24 hrs) and I returned it before 12:00 pm on the fourth. We returned it a day early filled the gas tank to the amount we got it at and you have over charged my account and I have not received any invoice or email reflecting any charges or amounts I had discussed with the uhaul man on Friday before we took it. I was inaware and without my consent that you had already charged my card 234.00 and another charge for $74.00 totaling $314.88. This is unexceptable for the short amount of time used for the uhaul. I stoped payment on the $234’.88 but let the 74.00. Request to pay you sir your services. Please call me at 1-530-621-2784 and we can further discuss this matter. Thank u

Your Regional office called me because they wanted to know when I was going to return the trailer. Their records showed I only had it reserved for one day, but my advance reservation receipt *and* my paid receipt show it was reserved and paid for for two days. Not sure how the wires got crossed, I reserved and paid for it on your website.

Hi, we were very satisfied in the end, but very disappointed in the beginning causing more stress with our already stressful move. We reserved a 20 ft truck at a location one mile from our house and over the weekend we received a text message confirming a location over 10 miles away for pick up. When I called to ask about the change, the rental office on Missouri flat rd in Placerville was closed until Tuesday, the day of our move. Finally, Tuesday the morning of our move I was referred to the regional office in Sacramento to straighten things out. We still didn't get to rent the truck from the facility we wanted, but got us closer at least.

Jesus just doesn't really care. My location got changed 2 times in 3 days. Had to finally call Sacramento and get a one way rate vs day as they kept sending further away from my location. Jesus was late opening so I was late to get my truck. He had me drop off at a location that was not a drop off so I had to take the truck somewhere else. When Camino Power rental (original drop off) tried calling Jesus he couldn't figure out where he was located when the paperwork indicated it. The telephone number for drop off was inaccurate. Uhaul needs to get the reservation system updated and improved. To rent a truck in advance then keep changing the location and saying they are overbooked does not bode well when trying to move. I will look elsewhere for a truck rental in the future. Sacramento dispatch was very helpful. Cameron Park rental was not

U-Haul is useless, I am very dis-satisfied with my rental, except for your dealer. They bailed you asses out. I do not know why I continue to use U-Haul, I must like the abuse. Thank you and good luck with your improvements, it will never happen.

When I reserved the uhaul I put in the location I wanted to pick up from and drop off at and they changed my pick up which was fine because I figured there just weren’t available trucks there. But when I picked up the worker told me I could drop off wherever takes uhaul I disregarded the text I got about having to return my uhaul the next town over from where I was moving. It didn’t make sense to drive extra miles and rack up more money owed. So I took it to a place in the town I moved but when I tried to do the return online I couldn’t move forward because it was set to a different location. I called customer service twice and the first woman I talked to was ignorant and completely useless. She told me there was nothing she could do to change the location so I drove the next town over and ended up at a location that doesn’t have 24 hr service. So I called back and the second woman was helpful and changed my drop off to a 24 hr drop off (so why couldn’t the first have done that?). I feel I don’t owe for the extra miles incurred and this was the biggest headache and I will never use uhaul again.
