The truck and the location of the pick up was not the problem. The internet information and approval process was. We waited over 2 hours to pick up the keys.

I dropped off after hours. I have used this drop off before. Only problem was a residence about 1/2 mile from this on Langdon Lane with multiple U-Haul trailers in the yard.Bad driveway; I couldn't read the street number and inadvertantly pulled into the wrong location. Finally backed out onto the narrow street, Langdon Lane, and went on to Bob's Garage. In the notes for drop off, tell customers coming from the south on Langdon Lane not to turn in the narrow driveway with lots of U-Haul trailers but keep going north until you come to wide driveway and Bob's Garage sign. Signs and street addresses are obscured by trees along Langdon Lane.

It might just be operator error, but when I was reserving the trailer, the location kept changing after I would set the pick-up and drop-off. I have reserved a truck using the website and had no problem, but this time I had to cancel reservations twice because the confirmation showed a different location than I had originally chosen.

The location seemed to be more of a junk yard than a Uhaul rental service. I also had to go to another location to pick up the moving blankets that I ordered when I made the reservation two weeks ago.

I found the owner at Bob's garage to be extremely rude. He was closed and I was trying to get acceptance from your app to get access to the vehicle. I was having issues with the app so I called the main office. They said everything went through and I was fine to go. Called the gentleman that owns Bob garage which lived on the premises and gotten nothing but harassment from him. Later on my drive I got a call from I believe his name was Chris from the main office telling me that the information did not go through and I did not have the right to do I've taken the vehicle. He asked for me to pull over so that we could finish the process. I then tried to explain to him the issue that I had at Bob's garage and I got raked over the coals verbally with Chris stating I have no right to complain to any of his workers and he did not want to hear it or go through it with me. Not wanting to cause more problems because I needed the truck I shut up until Chris calm down so that we could finish and I could start my move. I have used u-Haul many times in the past but this experience tells me that this company has changed and I will not be using the services again.

I arranged everything with the 4th Street location for my son in law to pick up the uhaul but my card was to be charged. Th r y said this wouldn't be a problem. They made him pay at this location and we're veryy rude to him. My son in law is a very shy, unassuming person and does not mention stuff like this lightly.

The truck only had 3/8ths of a tank of gas in it, you'd think that it'd at least come with a full tank of gas. Also, in order to put gas in it to leave it where you got it, it would help to know some type of mpg estimate for the truck.

Ken and Bob were most helpful by opening the garage for us on Saturday. We experienced icy conditions on way from Kansas City to Pittsburg and were two hours late getting into town and they were most accommodating. Ken was most concerned that we arrive safely...

I will not rent from Uhaul again. This was the most irritating transaction I have had to deal with in awhile. I booked my 20 ft. truck on a Monday for the following Saturday in a certain town. I get a call on Friday stating I have to pick a truck up an hour away from where I booked it at. I get to location to pick up 20 ft truck, NO TRUCK not returned yet...I can wait, are you kidding, the lady calls while we are there stating shes not done with it yet...What am I suppose to do. I took a 14 ft truck, doubting I would get everything packed in it, We managed to get everything crammed into this truck along with the truck we drove. Thank God we had that. Get home to unload truck go to fill it with gas. Turn it back on, it's DEAD, jump starting to get it to drop off location. I get a call stating I didn't put 7/8 gas back in it, it was only saying 3/4 tank, so i go back to location, AVOIDING A 5.00 RIP OFF CHARGE TO GO PUT A COUPLE OF MORE GALLONS OF GAS IN IT. We put 7/8 gas in it as we were suppose to, but anyways Uhaul got a FULL tank of gas. I will not do business with these people again. Not accommodating in trying to get trucks to where they need to be for customers and an I don't care attitude. Don't know how they do business. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO IMPROVE FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER? Learn customer service and care.
