Overall the truck and rental process were great. However, staff that were at the desk when I was picking up the truck could use some more professionalism... Not wearing masks, referred to a police officer as "retarded" that was directing traffic on the street outside of the store, among other inappropriate comments.
Barry's True Value was not listed as a drop off location in the database when we indicated we would like to use it. Barry's also said they rarely get 20' or 26' trucks and were pleased to get one. Wonder if the database needs to be updated so they are recognized and could get more trucks. We'd like to support their business in this way.

Scammers, gave me a truck with 2/3 tank of gas, doesn't mention it, every other You Haul i have rented comes with a full tank of gas. how else are you going to know how much gas you used ??? then no fuel credit when i return it with a full tank, VERY POOR DEALER !
- Poor direction at this location - We drove around trying to figure out where to park the trailer (behind the building). - order number not found when I trying to do drop off. - the app sucks

The U-haul system was having difficulty. Took more than 30 minutes. NOT Barry's True Value's fault. They are always great!
Whereas Barry's True Value was fine, the experience of callling U-Haul was HORRIBLE. 1. When I call a local number I do not like to be given to a nation-wide office. (I had tried to do it on-line, but I couldn't get on.) 2. The wait time was said to be 20 minutes: I had to wait 51 minutes. 3. The person was friendly and seemed to take care of me, but as it turned out totally MESSED UP MY RESERVATION, so the next day when I picked up the truck, the store made a call to fix the reservation, and when UHaul could not do that, he cancelled the reservation and made a new one (which worked fine). But it cost us a 1/2 hour of useless waiting. 4. Then when my wife tried to print out the contract, she got pages and pages of chinese writing but no contract and finally had to turn off the computer to get it to stop printing. My printer is not working correctly yet. I HOPE I NEVER NEED TO USE U=HAUL AGAIN. Your company-wide service is TERRIBLE. J. Hartley

This was a motorcycle trailer that I was unable to load my Harley because the ramp was too short and the cycle would bottom out when going up the ramp. A waste of money on my part.
The employees, particularly Cory, were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there were several issues with not having the right equipment, needing to order it to be delivered for another day, adding that equipment to the existing order, etc. that were problematic. Again, I don't think it was the employee's fault. It was a systematic problem between computers and locations. This particular location also didn't have everything east access because it was mainly connected to a different hardware store. Other than that, Cory was very helpful.
The ordering process was easy. The gentleman who helped us at the location was courteous and friendly. The location was organized and well staffed. Exceptional experience.

I would like to compliment Matt for his excellent customer service. The COVID-19 crisis put me in a real bind. I was given less than 24 hours to move 2 daughters out of their dorms in California and needed to rent a trailer ASAP. I was running late, cutting it close to the 7:00 pm close time, and called Matt. After explaining my situation, Matt stayed after 7:00 pm, hooked me up and got me on my way. I really appreciate the extra effort Matt displayed. Otherwise, I would've had a major problem in picking up my daughters. A big, big thank you to Matt - please pass it on!
