Had to wait indoors for much longer than i wanted to as the key to the vehicle I had rented online was missing. What should have been a quick minimal contact visit Was 30 minutes and it made me very uncomfortable. Woman at desk was awesome and vehicle was clean. Return was a breeze.

I had several issues throughout the day with the uhaul. I spoke to Cathie T with Uhaul Roadside assistance that insisted I do the late night drop off with Uhaul after hours instead of allowing a tow to come get the truck after the miserable day I had. And this morning I get a call from this UHAUL location that they can not find the keys I dropped off in the drop bin.
For some reason, I owed 45 cents upon dropping off the vehicle. So, I had to stand there in the lot and register a credit card so I could pay this palty sum. Not the fault of the drop-off point but U-Haul in general.
Need to improve online check in because I had trouble checking in online. The rep who assisted explained that I could no longer check in if I missed the â€œtimeframeâ€. I recommend having a 10-15 min â€œWindowâ€ for online checking in process
Onsite staff were very nice. On 3 bus lines so easy to get to. During open hours drop off could have been a little quicker but that's my only (minor) comment. Vehicle in good condition. Used to go to a different U-Haul location. Will most likely switch to this one, despite being 3x further away.
When using the equipment I drove through toll areas. How do I get invoiced for the tolls.
I was told by 2 different U Haul reps I could drop trailer off at South St. Location. They would not accept and had to drive to another location....was not far but messed up plans for family waiting! I had double checked to make sure I could drop off at South Street..
Movers were friendly and quick but multiple pieces of furniture were scratched/chipped during the moving process.
Make sure the towing dollies for cars are set up and ready on one of your trucks. I waited almost an hour to be able to put my car on it and drive the truck to pack for my move out of state.
The woman who helped me get the truck that morning was so helpful and was lovely to work with. Thank you!
The online sign in process wasn't as easy or clear cut as expected. It asked for 2 points of contact- when I provided both myself & the driver, it kept saying that wasn't good enough. I had to provide a 3rd point of contact not even affiliated with the move just to access the vehicle. Then, I was told to refresh the page & the next steps would follow. This did not happen. The online chat also took several minutes. It took me close to 20 minutes just to access the vehicle. I was then late for the movers, even though I had given myself plenty of extra time.

I had a very bad experience with renting the trailer I called in and explained what I needed and and measurements but the wrong trailer was given to me and I lost a hole day because of this problem as well as David screwing up the paperwork i told him I need the trailer till 20th 7:15pm he put 7:15am David also gave me a hard time picking up the trailer I was told to pick up the trailer at 6:45 I get there exactly 6:45 and he was on the phone with another customer and I waited patiently for him to get off the phone but that time it was 7:55 and he said I have to come tomorrow because the store is closed. I was treated unfairly and I'm very unhappy because I lost time and money for no reason at all
The first service agent wasn't very friendly or helpful. The second one was much more friendly and seemed to care more about our experience.
When we arrived there wasn't a single person in the customer pick up area. We rung bells, shouted, and looked around for about 10-15 minutes or so. I couldn't believe that the employee would leave the registers and vehicle keys unattended like that - not to mention we were stuck waiting for a long time when we had a designated pick up time. When the employee finally turned up, they started to process me but then picked up the phone and spent a good 5 minutes talking to someone else. The service at the Washington Avenue is far better than this. This was pretty dismal.
There was no staff at all, when I returned my truck, and I could not ask any questions to anyone. What U-haul, not this location specifically, should change is the estimate for the Truck sizes, since they are completely wrong. I could not fit my furniture for a 1-bedroom apartment in a 15-foot truck at all and I had to make two trips.
The young women put down for my truck to be return at 1:00pm instead of a full 24 hours. This cause great trouble for us. I told her for a day she should have reviewed the timing before I left the shop. In the future I will read over everything before leaving the counter. I never had this problem before.
Customer service was excellent
