Please, make sure if a customer reserve a uhaul, that at time of pick up, they have the uhaul. Not rent it to someone else that came to the location to rent. It happened twice to us.

The gal told me I could return the truck on Sunday NIGHT. Apparently it had to be in by 10:30. The truck was just sitting there. I didn’t need it. To me, this is an easy credit back; good faith. They didn’t get back to me had the receiving location call me instead. I gave up and just paid it, but it’s not right.

Your employee who checked me out had a very poor attitude. She assumed that I new what to do to pick it up after reserving the 26 foot moving van online. She had me go to my car and get my cell phone to take a picture of my license which did not work. She had me inspect the van and take pictures of any damage that I did not see in the photos of the link I was sent on my phone. Like my drivers license photo it did not work. Now I called your customer service number 1 hour before the due time on the moving van and requested to rent it an additional day. That was approved by your customer service rep who was very polite and helpful. She sent me an email with proof of my changes. Now 45 minutes later your Regional manager called stated that the moving van needed to be back and that I was late. I explained to him that I called customer service and the rental was extended an additional day. Now he states that the customer service rep notes say that she denied my extension for an additional day. So he says that I needed to bring the moving van back as there was another family waiting to rent it. I gave him the name of the customer service rep who extended my rental and that I also had confirmation of my extended contract. He said than go ahead and keep it. Most of my experiences with Uhaul have been very positive. This experience was very uncomfortable to say the least.

Maybe put into your web site for electrical connection requirements concerning the plug and jack. I wes using a 7 pin circular jack, I tried to see if that was compatible, but didn’t see it in your web site. You covered everything else such as the ball size, but nothing on the jack/plug. This is more for the uhaul web site than the pick up location. Otherwise those trailers are indestructible and well worth it to rent.

It was a bit deceptive when reserving a rental because the site implied I would be picking up a trailer in Atascadero. Instead I had to drive to northern Paso, probably 15 minutes farther away. The service at the assigned location was very good.

At drop off they were not helpful. My husband took the truck and and they told him to just check it in on the phone which he was given no direction on how to do. We were also told it would be 29.95 a day and it was 39.95 a day.

The customer service woman, Jennifer, was excellent even in the face of extreme adversity as her system was down and many clients were on the phone and in her office complaining and even some being outright rude and hostile toward her. However, U Haul screwed up our order several times during the move. Not her fault though.

Our appointment was at 9 we did not get our truck until 10:30. Location was very unorganized Reserved a 15 foot truck and were told the day before the only thing we could get was a 26’ unless we wanted to drive 30 miles in the other direction to get.
