Called to request an extension on my time for a few hours and wasn't aware that I would be charged an extra full day out of it. Also wasn't told up front how much you charge to fill the gas tank otherwise I would've stopped earlier in my day to fill. Due to COVID gas stations near me were closed by the time I was ready to return the truck.
There were issues with the on-line order system at pickup. I ordered online, through my U-haul account, and completed the early check-in / registration, so as to save time. The dealer couldn't pull up my order, and had to start a new order all over. This has happened at multiple U-hail location I have used.
All staff was courteous and helpful
Friendly people, good customer service, well maintained facility, would recomend to anyone who ask.
The guy there was really friendly they let me switch trailers last second and they hooked it up for me
You can make sure all uhual locations have their current hours on your site. I had a terrible incident all kicked of by a locations hours not being correct on the uhaul website. It was corrected at malones but not without incident. The entire thing could have been a non issue if that dealers hours were correct. The dealer in question was fulton NY Coolwaters Pool And Spa.
I had a great experience. NOT a thing to complain about. WAS shown where my storage shed was and truck I would be getting. Thank You. Robin Wise

Malones Garage doesn't understand what a contract is. More importantly they fail to understand that when they rent a vehicle (a contract) they can't, upon a whim, demand it back to rent it to someone else....and then get ugly about it Monday May 13, 2019 I rented a pickup truck from Malones Garage, 7730 SR 104, Oswego, NY 13126. Originally I thought I'd need it for just a few days, but as soon as I realized I needed it for a longer time, I called to extend the contract to a full week (7 days), which they did and charged my credit card for the remaining days. I asked if he would send me a confirming email to which he said (not an exact quote but almost): â€œNo we don't do that, but I ran it through your card. It's due back Monday at 11:00am.â€ I thanked him and we hung up. Monday May 20, 2019 8:13am Larry from Malones left a message that they need the truck back as soon as possible because they have other people with reservations for it. The way he was speaking felt like I'd kept the truck without permission. Monday May 20, 2019 8:43am I return the truck and am not happy about the phone message. I forget the exact order of the conversation, but these are the things Larry said to me and our brief interaction: I walk up to Larry, he recognizes me, and I explain to him that it wasn't due back until 11:00 am. He becomes hostile and informs me that he tried to call me over the weekend but only left the one message. That other people were calling wanting to rent the truck. I told him that his scheduling problems weren't my problems. He gets angrier and informed me that he â€œdid me a favor renting it to meâ€. (!) I told him if renting it wasn't possible then he should have said something and I would of made other arrangements. He said that it was his graduation weekend. Aah.... I said this is a business. He agreed. He said some other things including (in a pouting voice) that I can just take it and not return it until 11:00. Again I told him to just finish it up, and finally he stopped his arguing, making up excuses and did. As I left there was an older man sitting at a desk on the other side of the room. I nodded to him. He glared at me.
Larry was accommodating and friendly.
Staff at Malone very helpful and courteous.
Had to jump the truck once I reach home. Need to make sure battery is charged.

The app to pick up the truck 24/7 does not work well.
Recommend advanced reservation so the desired rental is available.
The information on the website would lead one to believe that the 24/7 service app would enable you to get into your rental vehicle at any point during which you set your rental window. I set everything up ahead of time to easily get into my vehicle, but I went to pick up my vehicle more than 30 minutes after the beginning of my rental window, and was unable to get in. It then took me almost two hours on hold and on the phone with multiple people in order to get into the vehicle. Luckily, they were able to change my rental time to 2:00AM. I returned the vehicle around 1:30 AM, when I expected to originally have the vehicle returned by 11:00PM. I was extremely unhappy with the service and the initial person I spoke with. I will not use u-haul or recommend them ever again. I have no complaints about Malones Garage. This was strictly an issue with U-Haul.
First time I rented a U-Haul from Malones. I had a very good experience and will rent again. The vehicle served our purpose and the people at Malones were easy to work with.
School them on how to adjust side mirrors and put cruise control in truck.
List the breakdown of the fees that are associated with truck rental at time of reservation (for example the insurance, environmental fees) and make sure that the equipment ordered is supplied.....I had ordered a dolly charged for it but it was not supplied.
This location was very accommodating.
Online check in and return was fast easy. The employees working were friendly and courteous. ????
