This is the first time I have checked a Uhaul vehicle in that was not at a Uhaul facility. I would rather interact with staff while checking in a vehicle instead of using an app. I did not care for the experience. Outsourcing your work to the client is not great. Relying on the the client's technology is not great. Nowhere in the contract did I see it was mandatory that the client have a smartphone.

The person was cordial and pleasant, but this is not a typical drop-off location and I had to trust that he would handle closing the contract as I had to leave with no paperwork. Again, very nice and he DID handle it all correctly, but I would not use this location in the future.
alice bThe location was okay, and the person was nice. He could not answer a single question and just referred me to contact U-Haul with my questions. He entered all of the information, pickup and drop off location and then we left.
MARC TDrop-off was at a parking lot with nothing to indicate that it was a U-Haul location. The store was difficult to find in the strip-mall, with only a very small sign to indicate any association with U-haul. Better to leave the truck with a full-fledged dealer with personnel on-site.
MICHAEL FI requested a dolly but it was bot available when I was picking up at 8 am. I had to call the service and was told to drive extra 5 miles (10 miles round trip) to pick a dolly up at a different U-haul location. I got extra miles for that but my time loss was not addressed. It was very inconvenient and my moving got delayed.
