Equipment was scattered all over. U haul trucks were parked in the handicapped spaces so we could not park there nor was there any other parking available, it was just park wherever you could find room. The employees did not have any enthusiasm and it seemed like a chore for them to smile or even talk to us. This was not my first choice for a location to rent from but after I made the reservation this is where we were told to go to. That said I guess it really does not matter if I would recommend this location to anyone since I really did not have a choice. Part of the problem may be the strange check-in system. The people outside do all of the work before you finalize the rental and the person behind the desk hands you paperwork. I've never seen it done this way before and maybe that is why it seems so chaotic. Getting into the location was made difficult by no parking but getting out is not real good either. They are on a busy street that curves. We got in and out only because a motorist was good enough to hold traffic back. Knowing that I am going to need to rent again I just hope it won't be from this location.

The main thing that your intake reps need to make sure is when they book somebody to pick up a truck or trailer that it will be at the pick up location. Both this time we rented and last time (2 months ago) This is very disappointing. We wasted valuable time. We were promised $50 credit each time and I haven't seen it for either as of yet. Also disappointing. I may think twice next time before I rent with U haul. We have used u haul for many years.

The technician was very rude and when I advised him one of the tail lights was out his response was (either you take it or go somewhere else) very bad customer service I would not recommend this place to any of my fellow soldiers or family.

I would like to talk about the original location I made a reservation on Friday December 22, 2017(please see below) Rental Equipment You've selected a Cargo Van for your move. You are scheduled to pickup your equipment at StorCal Self Storage Woodland Hills #2 on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at 2:45 PM for 4 hours. It was not set up when I arrived for pick up on Sunday. In addition, I wasn't made aware that the location would be closed Christmas Eve. The purpose of the van was to move items for a family in need and had people waiting. I had to go to another location, Northridge, and was delayed an hour. Thank goodness for the kind heartened individuals whose mission was to give a family Christmas. I hope this comment is shared with the Woodland Hills location so that they know they almost ruined Christmas for a family. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any more questions. ijeoma

I needed a 10’ truck to pick up a queen sized mattress and the woman that helped me was great and was able to get me the truck I needed. I used it to move the mattress and returned it same day. Super quick, super easy, and great service. Thanks!

As a customer, I didn't like the "NO PARKING" rule. Not sure how full it can get but from what I could tell, there was plenty of customer parking available. If there aren't enough spots that's fine, first come first served. I was not happy that I had to park 3 blocks away and walk especially after a hard day.
