reserved two dollies never came thru had to rent two appliance dollies instead heavier , more money? also need some one in charge of the store that can make decisions not a computer that regulates every thing in store

When checking out the employee helping me seemed like he was being trained. He was very slow and unsure and the person with him that looked like he was training him was very unhelpful. At some point after checkout he made a comment to the one helping me “you didn’t even ask about insurance” and the guy helping me didn’t say anything. On top of that the guy helping me didn’t confirm ANY information with me before hand. I had to confirm it myself when being checked out. Additionally, when he handed me he keys he did not go over anything regarding the vehicle with me (gas, damages, cleanliness, etc) A huge issue I had was when they gave us the truck it had absolutely no gas in it. Which normally wouldn’t be a problem since i read beforehand that the truck would need to be returned with the same gas it came with, however when i checked the pamphlet he gave me it indicated the truck needed to have 3/4s full tank when returned. I had already filled the tank with that much gas when i realized this, I called support and they said they would forward this issue to the store and they would give me a call back when they were done assisting customers. This was around noon when I placed the call and they never called me back.

Rental was scheduled for pick-up on Oxnard. I got there and there was no truck. I had to drive to a location farther away to pick up a truck, which cause a delay of over an hour while I was paying workers to stand and wait for me to arrive with back-up truck. Very unsatisfactory.

The employees looked like they could use more help. Employees were hustling and still looked like they needed some help. Also we had made a reservation over the phone and received confirmation emails, but when we went in nothing was in the system. This made the process a little more difficult.

One of the representatives called me at 11am and told me they needed the truck back immediately in a nasty tone. Well I still had an hour and I was right down the street. I will never use uhaul again nor will I recommend anyone to use it.

Phone call with associate contradicted what another associate told me two-three hours prior. Location closes at 7. Associate told me as long as I get there before closing time I will be okay. Once I got off from work (6pm) I called just to make sure. Person who answered basically said that I need to be there by 630 or they will not be able to give me truck. So I asked about the contradiction. I ended up going online and saw that I could make a reservation online for a later time than what I was told by the last associate. Once I got there, there wasn’t an associate to be found. I waited for 10mins past the reservation time and was greeted by “you’re late” so I replied “no man, I’ve been here and you can check the cameras; you’re late where we’re you?” I was completely annoyed by the fact that I waited that long even though I was told that I wouldn’t be attended past 630 (by that time it was around 655). Afterwards the associate was nice and helped me out. When I dropped off the truck the next morning at 7am the return process was very easy and I was happy about that.

I was called by a UHaul associate to update my drop off location. And was told “this has staff 24/7” drove further and expected it to be open. Ended up doing the key drop off which was not what I expected. Location was dirty and not secure.

Customer Service really Poot, asked for help to remove the strap from the trailer off my car, was told they could not touch it because many things happens on the way, I told them didn’t want them to move my car just the straps, was told will be charge for the service, after 10 min no service, no help, they were very rude and unhelpful. When I returned the 15’ truck, they were about to charge me for scratches previously made when I got the truck, I explain them that those scratches were there when I rented the truck and the guys at pick up location mark them on the slip (which at that moment didn’t have it) manager told me if did not have it charge will be put on my account, asked him to lookup on u-haul system they should have it somewhere and he said I supposed to have it with me and I needed to request it myself to location. 3 days later, 1 hr on phone calls, many attempts to resolve an issue that wasn’t mine, finally they found the paperwork and close the acct. PS. U-haul should add damage slip to online or computer system to Void this type of problem and make it easier for customers, also need to train representatives about how to provide a great customer service.

The experience was terrible. If someone wishes to contact me I will give complete details. Short version is that I requested a 26' truck and was given a 20' truck which lead to me having to leave things behind. Additionally, I paid a lot for 2 boxes made for flat screen TVs and they were horrible.

I never got a walk around inspection. And he didn’t go over the mileage or the gas with me I had to do it myself. I also had to take pictures of the car because there was no inspection.

This location has many excellent customer service representatives who are more than willing to go the extra mile to insure a quick and efficient rental experience. I highly recommend this particular location for all your moving vehicle rental services.

Computer system. I had to wait to have my payment posted for about 10 min. The rep had to re-submit my payment x2. So it actually took longer since there were 2 people ahead of me. Each one had to wait because the payment system was so slow & had to have their payment sent 2 or 3x. Need more staff as well. Only 2 workers on a Saturday morning. One customer was have a complaint issue that took 2 staff to deal with
