The location I actually picked up the truck from was great, however, I was originally scheduled at 8:30am at another location and when I got there they weren’t open and didn’t even open until 10am. I’m not sure why I was allowed to reserve at 8:30am if it didn’t open till 10. I had to be rescheduled and pick it up from this location

This is my second rental from this locations the first one was great. Really nice Equipment. The help great. A guy . Second time the equipment was old and kind of dirty halp not so great. Will not try this location a third time

Although inconvenient for me location wise, the team was great. I was upset that I went to the wrong location at my pick up time because it wasn’t explained to me when I scheduled the van that it was at a different place. I vented to the team when I got there and they were kind enough to hear me out. They even worked with me on the gas. Thank you for your commitment to ensure I had a great experience overall.

I returned the truck with 1/4 tank full. U-Haul refused to credit me as stated in the contract. I took a picture of the dash as I always do and I will dispute it through my bank.

The front end steering on this truck was very loose. The truck would sway from side to side when just attempting to keep it going straight. Bumps in the roads made it even harder to control.

The van I was issued at first was filthy and smelled awful,I was charged twice then credited back. I thought that was a bit in fair. I had to let the attendant know I preferred a clean van.

I originally had my reservation at the U-Haul on Birch Street in Irvine; however, when I got to the location they were not open. When I called customer service I was told the manager couldn't get in touch with any of the employees so all they could do is move my reservation to another location. This would have been okay except I was dropped off at the Birch location and didn't have any way to get to the new location and my movers were meeting me at my place in 45 minutes. Luckily, another person with a reservation offered to take me to the Campus Dr location. I accepted the ride from the complete stranger and was able to rent the truck. They did have the furniture dollies I ordered so I was told they would be removed from my bill that morning. This was a huge problem for the movers because the furniture was heavy. I brought the truck back with just under 3/4 th of a tank which is where it was when I picked it up but I was still charged for fuel. I received the bill this morning and I sent an email right away but still have not received a response. I would have scored this facility as poor except the gentleman that helped me was really nice and got us on our way quickly.



The truck was very old. I drove a short distance, but I didn’t felt a safe drive. It was obvious that maintenance was needed. Also, right side mirror was cracked which didn’t allow me to have a safe vision. At the store I updated my reservation and requested two dozens of furniture pads, but received only one. Furthermore one bag was missing a pad. To keep it short, it was my worst U-Haul experience ever.

The employees are arrogant and irresponsible in every way you can possibly think of. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION WHATSOEVER. I rent the 17ft truck for 3hours. The driving range was 17miles total which is saying it is like 15mins of driving back and forth. I fueled the truck before I returned it and asked them to check the gas in order to make sure that I do not get charged for anything. They said, "if everything is good then leave the key and go". I did check the fuel it was the right amount as before so I did leave the key and left. The very next day, they charged me $50 because the fuel was less. The gas meter bar was "less than" 1mm below which you can not even tell the difference or barely can see that it was less or below. They charged me $30 for service fee and $15 for fuels+taxes. I asked them nicely to refund because charge me on this does not make sense AT ALL but they were out of their minds and dare to say that they don't care and it is none of their business. I called customer service to get a refund which takes a week. I spent my gas, time and money to deal with this kind of services. I do not recommend this location NOT AT ALL. NOT any circumstance.

The attendant was very unattentive. When i picked up the vehicle he couldn't get the card machine to work. He did not walk me to the car but instead said "oh it's outside, the farthest one down you'll find it. If not let me know. " When I brought the car back, there was another attendant working. I asked him for a receipt. He went out to the car to check mileage and what not. And took a fair amount of time. During this time the other attendant ( who might have been off by now) was sitting in the office with headphones on watching something on his laptop. I went outside to check what was taking so long with my receipt and the attendant said "oh I thought the other guy would have printed it for you." Along with this, the vehicle was dirty and beat up. I was not offered a dolly or tie downs or any add ons. Bad bad service.

Really wish the van was cleaner. The cargo area was so dirty that almost got me sick at the end.



The dashboard of the van was dusty and the van smelled like it needed to be aired-out (it smelled damp-you know, like what it smells like if you leave your laundry in the washer for days).. The seats were otherwise clean.. also the staff at this location was super friendly and helpful which i think is most important than anything else.
