It's a 2 location pickup. You have to go to a different location that is not listed first in order to complete the paperwork. We would not have known if we hadn't previously stopped in to make sure the trailer was there for pickup. Paperwork was easy and agent was nice and knowledgeable and had me on my way to the trailer location quickly. Trailer location employees had no idea I was coming upon initial stop by earlier that day, nor were they ready for me upon appointment of trailer pickup. Once they hooked my trailer up I pulled away. I went out of view, stopped and readjusted the trailer chains as they had no idea on how to cradle then I was on my way. Trailer was not looked over before or after rental. HORRIBLE experience. Would never go back to this location. Called ahead for packing boxes and bubble wrap and when i got there they didn't have the product I was looking for. Requested a 6x12 Uhaul on a Tuesday am for pick up Saturday am. I was told they were going to pick one up for me that day. I received a call Friday afternoon (after my fathers funeral) confirming my reservation, I asked if i could pick up the trailer later that afternoon and i was told not a problem the worker was on the way back with it. I was at the dealership at 5, no one was there, waited approximately half hour then a young fellow showed up, very nice person, and tried to call the girl that was supposed to be working 10x and she would not answer her phone. Apparently she went home? He also let me know the worker that was picking up the trailer ran out of gas and their boss went to take her fuel. He attempted to help me , as i was going to pay for the trailer to speed the process up but was unable to. He repeatedly tried to call the girl that was supposed to be working and she would not answer. An hour and 15 had now gone by. He had me follow him to the other lot where the trailer would be delivered. When we pulled in the other girl that wouldn't answer the phone appeared in her pyjamas and did not look happy. She called the worker that was bringing the trailer and she proceeded to tell us she thought the transmission in the vehicle she was driving had blown. Their boss was towing the trailer back in a cadillac. I told the girl to call me when the trailer arrived. It was over 2 hours from start to finish before the trailer arrived. I asked the girl about a discount on he trailer because of the 2 hours I gave up of my time and the hassle. She was very rude and told me it wasn't her fault the worker had vehicle issues and she didn't know that i had a reservation. I refused to give my credit card info as I felt very uncomfortable. I went to back up to hook up to the trailer and there were no lights anywhere, lot was pitch black. If it weren't for my brother being with me I would have left and canceled the reservation. This location has 0 customer service skills and is very sketchy. The drop off location in Slave Lake was awesome. After the pain and stress of losing my dad and having to clean his apartment out and drive 2 provinces in terrible weather I did not need the added stress of the Neepawa location. I did call and file a complaint on the Sunday, 2 days after pick up and was told someone would be calling me within 72 hours. I called on the Thursday am and was told the area rep would be calling me that afternoon, it is now Sunday and Ive yet to receive a call from anyone. Have a full tank of fuel. Had to get them to add a liter of engine oil. The facility looked 3rd world. Weeds around the building were 2.5' high. Mileage on the vehicle weren't in metric so I couldn't tell if I had a rebate comingGerald P.
