Tried to rent a tow dolly to move a truck and the woman behind the counter kept telling me the computer said the vehicle i was using to tow my truck wasnt big enough. so i went and borrowed a bigger truck and she rented me the trailer only to find out thetrailer was not big enough. But i still got charged any way. I will never go there again

Drop off location was hard to find but your customer service guy stayed on the phone with me and gave me step by step directions wihich was PERFECT SERVICE in my book!! I don't remember his name but because of his customer service, I will recommend u-haul to everyone I know!

Have the truck that I am scheduled to pick up maintained and ready for pick up. Check all fluids that run the engine. Clean out the cab of the truck. Clean out the van of the truck. The truck we rented was extremely low on oil (the oil light came on as soon as we cranked it) and my husband was the person who did the work to take care of this. When he pulled out the dip stick, nothing but crude came out of the oil reservoir. It required three and a half quarts of oil to get it up to an acceptable level. And when we got the truck home to load, he checked all fluids and the power steering reservoir was bone dry. So he had to make another trip back to town (20 mile round trip) to buy fluids to put into that reservoir. The cab was filled with dirt on the floors and seats and wreaked of cigarette smoke. No amount of FeBreeze nor leaving windows down overnight remedied that problem. The van was full of dirt and leaves which we had to clean out. Nothing about the filthiness was offered help on at the dealership. And having to wait for two trips back and forth to a store to buy oil for the truck before we left the dealership, worked against us time wise. When we got to our destination, the wood bar across the side of the van where we had hung some clothing had broken on the trip and had left our clothes all over that nasty smoke laden floor. Clearly the bar was dry rotted. Had I not purchased the insurance for the truck, I have no doubt the return facility would have tried to charge me for damage. This van needs to be retired.

Their hours were not particularly convenient. I called several times and never received an answer back. When I did finally get someone on the phone Leslie she was very accommodating. The second one who I didn't get a name from used some very bad and threatening language toward me. The profanity was not severe but it was enough to scare me into not wanting to meet her. Granted the circumstances under which I returned the vehicle were unorthodox. I had to keep it for a few extra days, which it was covered by credit card. The unprofessional tirade was completely unnecessary. The check in person a gentleman was very nice and apologized for her on the phone. I think she was the manager, not sure though.

The truck I rented online was not available upon my arrival. The one truck at the location I was told was reserved and others had not returned their rentals. I was given a phone number to call for help which I did and I was told to travel to one of two available locations to find a truck. The nearest location was 10+ miles away in Provencal, LA, where I picked up the truck.

I rented a truck a week in advance and was called and told the truck was not available the day before. I had to drive to Provencal to pick the truck up and then was charged a one way fee to drop it off in Natchitoches. This is ridiculous - the people in Provencal said they would have brought it to Natchitoches but were told no. What about the $50 guarantee? This seems like a way for you to get extra fees AND to have your customers move your trucks to where they need to be. If there were other rental companies - I would use them and I will now search them out. I rent 6-8 times a year and this is ridiculous to charge me an extra $100 (about) because you canceled my rental and made me pick up the truck in a remote location and pay a one way fee after they didn't want the truck in Provencal anyway!!! .

Be specific, when told I was being charged for a five (5) day rental and when turned in before that I would be receiving a refund, that is what I expected. Only to find out upon return that the 5 day this is the normal charge and no refund would be sent!

The lady at this location was fantastic. She was out in the parking lot before I could walk in the building! She checked us out in less than 5 minutes, even though she wasn't expecting the truck to be turned in for 2 more days.

I waited for over an hour to receive the two dollys I had reserved. I finally had to leave and return later that day to pick them up. What is the point of having a reservation if items are not ready when you reserve them?

Make sure someone is available to answer the phone and if they are there they will answer the phone and not just let it ring, because it was ringing when I walked into the building.
