Attendant was polite and efficient. Experience was very pleasant over all. And the yard is located only five minutes from my home. This is and will continue to be my go-to place for rental vans.
Be more clear for digital check in during off hours. Plan on extra 15 minutes to go thru digital check in process and it never said I need another person to be ready to accept a call for verification.. when U-Haul called the person, they would not answer because the caller I'd did not say U-Haul, it was just about of state number that wary people should not answer. Fix this. I had to do this multiple times and warn my reference to pick up.

The inside of the U-Haul was filthy. It took two of us nearly and hour to clean the inside before we could use it. It definitely did not meet normal cleanliness standards - not even close to current COVID sanitation standards. Mechanically we had no problems.
I will probably not be using U-Haul in the future any longer. The local locations are fine however the corporate customer service has been terrible. I made an arrangement online and completed the process a month or so before the planned move. A week Before my pick up date I drove to the location to e sure my rental was set up. When I got there that location informed me that they no longer were associated with U-Haul. So I drove to the next closest location. At this second location they had difficulty locating my reservation. Eventually they did and we modified the details for the upcoming pick up. Around the end of business hours the day prior to my pick up U-Haul corporate send me a email telling me they have changed my pick up location to a town some 12-15 miles away. With this late message there is o way to actually talk to anybody about the confusion and this third Location. I proceed to the second location to find out U-Haul had canceled this location, and of course they did not have a truck that I wanted to rent. About two years ago I had a similar disappointing experience in a different town. Bottom line U-Hail has no problem making arrangements online only to then turn around with less than 24 hours simply switching locations. Last time it was an ADDITIONAL 45+ drive, each way, to pick up the truck. The only bright side is that I've decided to purchase my own truck. U-Haul is a great concept and as a company it has been around for a long time. But U-Haul's reservation/booking online system is a mess.

Very happy with the facility, the equipment and Kim who went above and beyond in terms of customer service. We'll be renting another two, possibly three times in the next couple of weeks to complete our move and won't go anywhere else.

Wow - that check in software is QUICK to charge me $25 because the pickup needed a wipe down before the next customer uses it. I guess I didn't read the fine print that requires that I bring it back detailed. :-/
There was no cell reception for our iPhone and we could not check out any other way. We had to go home and get an android phone, drive all the way back, and do the check out. I found the check out experience to be too long and annoying-- too many steps, too many photos. The attendant would see the van in the a.m., so why take pictures? Seems redundant.
