Direct calls to the actual store and not an overseas phone bank. I had very poor service and had to fill out the Information several times just rent an auto transport. I will NOT be using your service again.

I asked for a one way, one day rental from B'ham to Mobile using the 1800 Go Uhaul number. The lady booked my truck for 2 days. The lady at the call center was very helpful. When I picked the truck up i noticed she had booked it for 2 days. The lady at the pick up site stated "dont worry about it. They will give you a refund when you get to Mobile if you only keep it one day." When I turned in the truck the guy was rude and simply stated "I dont know who told that you would get a refund but you won't. Since it was a one way rental you dont get a refund." I asked why would I get one story when I rent the truck and another when I drop it off. He stated "well it must be a 'mom and pop store' not a u haul store. If you want a refund then call them." Needless to say I wont be dealing with this location again. What can you do to improve for the next customer? Have standardized regulations at each U Haul location. Returning my 56.00$ would be nice too.

I had to hunt down and find someone to assist me , really rude and short and wasted my time. And after parking the truck in the check in lane she had me back the trailer and the truck up , I guess because she was and experienced or just lazy.

We are always very happy with our amazing customer services, all of the employee's we have encountered @ the Government blv. Service rd are just the best & most helpful & friendly. We sold our truck & just kept our economy car. Being A man I was A little worried about what I would do when I needed to move big items, but thanks to the U-haul services, no longer worries here. Employees were good, Customer Support at the 800 number was terrible, Could not give directions to help me locate the drop location.

We arrived about 35 minutes early to drop off. As we pulled up to the drop off station we were approached by an associate who asked me to pull the truck to the side of the building, and I did so. After exiting the truck after her guidance of parking, which was quite difficult. She told me that I had to detach the trailer because no one was there to do it. After doing so I was told by another associate that I had gone over mileage. I am totally disabled, and don't feel like I should have had to detach the trailer because they were short of help. I look to be reimbursed for my trouble. We will be contacting management to inquire about this incident.

Rental agreements should be honored when a customer takes the time to schedule them for an allotted time frame. If the vehicle is not ready at the scheduled time for pick up and the customer has to wait 45min. before it's processed then the return time should change as well. The customer should not be penalized for the companies negligence. Only to be told that you can't get your full rental what you reserved. I will not be recommending this location to anyone in the future.

Make sure to settle with the customer so that there are no surprised on their account. As this was the case with me on my settlement. The young lady, told me I was good and when she emailed my settlement it stated the same amount that I presumed to be good of which I paid prior to getting the truck, and when I looked at my account there was an extra amount taken from my account. This was upsetting to me, when someone tell you one thing and you do expect that amount and more is taken, it is like stealing.

The guy that signed me up for the contract was very unimpressive.very dry.no customer service skills what so ever.now the African American guy that checked the truck was impeccable. Very nice. As for the ordering the truck... I was suppose to pick up in semmes and drop in saraland...I found out the day before the move that I had to travel 20 extra miles to pick up the truck and then I had to drive all the way back to semmes...yes they gave me 40 extra miles...but they don't even consider the time your wasting with the extra driving...if you have to transfer a customer you should offer a discount or reward card. I have always used uhaul but honestly I am considering using another company from now on...I don't like being given the runaround...and not fully compensated for my trouble.

I had to do over night drop off AND they never checked the trailer back in so I got charged an extra 215.36 on top of the 60 I already paid to rent it because they said i didn't return it and then they went and seen that I returned it the same day I rented it
