It would be nice if while driving off the lot the "LOW FUEL" light didnt come on. I was hoping to get right in to my moving project right away without having to put gas in first. It said 1/8 tank when i picked it up, but van was not parked on level ground. While I was at the light at Royal Windsor and Winston Churchill the "Low Fuel" light came on. Very frustrating.


Last time three months ago the same dolly was only half price at $22.oo. now it's doubled. Should tell customers about large increases.

Poor customer service. Back of U-Haul was not cleaned and some moving blankets inside had dirt and ice stuck to them.

We got our truck and everything was fine. When we dropped off the truck, we asked if there is anything we need to sign? The lady working there at that time said no, they will email you the bill. My credit card was charged for 71.90$ which was the amount of the rental, than a few weeks later got a bill for 789$. My husband called them and said something is wrong here, it said on the bill, we had it for 8 days but we had it for 4 hous. Then after waiting on the phone for a half an getting hung up on once than having to call back and wait again. We finally reached some one and he was very helpful, couldn't remember his name. He fixed everything, so thank you.

My booking was for 7am and 2 days truck rental was promised. In the last moment, u-haul changed my pickup location as well as timing. I paid $100 extra to movers because of stupid U-haul.


I was pleased with the service.


Customer service was absolutely lowest Of class I've dealt with, the engine light was on the rental disorganization on return of trucks outside. Complete price seem to be off for the total rental for 6 hours I'd never return or recommend this location to anyone

Service, price and easy of use beats the competition


The rear tires are bald. We got stuck in the snow for a hour. We were lucky to get help to get out of the snow.

I am 53 years old and Have used u-haul 25 +years ago . The 15' truck I got was excellent , and safe ! ... it's not like 25 years ago any more with the old clunkers ! I would recommend these trucks for moving . If you are creative with the ramp you can save lots of work ( eg. ramp to porch ). staff was busy , yet helpful . Renting the blankets is cheap , and very helpful too.


The return was hard to do electronically. Photos would load because it was trying to use phone memory and kept saying memory low. Then location was accepted but it wouldn't let me get to the next screen by noting location was not on when it was on. It took multiple login attempts just to get through once. Please make the return easier.

Truck i booked was given to someone else and i had to wait 40 mins to get another one. The truck i finally got had a weak battery and it died during my trip.

it was excellent, the calculation is transparent and accurate. The vehicle was in real good condition.


The key box was challenging to locate, parking is awkward.


Trailer had some garbage inside of it (2x paint stick, broom head). Service was excellent, staff was friendly. Will return and recommend.

Absolutely no reference to the vehicle being COVID safe with precautions taken for cleaning and or quarantined I refused first truck as it reeked of marijuana No excuse for that as your people confirm mileage on return

The truck that I rented was clean but the alignment was a little off. I had to steer a little to the left to get the truck to go straight. Not a big deal for me but this could be a problem for someone else. I made a note of this when I returned the truck.


A service you can expect! I rented dual axle 6x12 ft trailer. The hook up to my truck was done and. tested in no time I was ready to go and do my job


Work on the problems with your app and website so people can return their rental vehicle without any hassle. The app didn't work nor did the website. I wasted over 45 minutes of my time on things not working and waiting for customer service on the telephone. Even though the service representative noted the problems I had I was still overcharged and when I called to have the overcharge corrected they double charged my credit card and credited and incorrect amount. I should have used another company.


I have no complaint about the rental location/staff there... but over all U-Haul put me under a lot of stress during the process. 2 weeks prior to my moving date I visited the location to book a 26' truck. As I was moving from GTA to Kingston so staff there suggested a One-Way Truck Rental which I could have left here in Kingston which also saves back trip and money... I accepted that happily... They also told me that 1, or 2 days prior to the day I would receive a call to tell me either to pick up the truck at that location or any other location near by... I booked all for Saturday Jan 30th. Then I also informed building management and booked service elevators for the same day.... Then one day prior to the date, as they specified, I received a call from U-Haul and they told me that "unfortunately" no Truck is available for Saturday at all, and only 1 is available for Sunday, which I will have to bring back to the same location (no one way)... That put me under lot of stress; 1) entire plan of moving on Saturday was gone. 2) had to re-arrange every thing for Sunday. 3) then have to drive back (4 hours) to leave the Truck at the same location and then make some arrangement (bus, train, or) to come back to Kingston................... and for all that they had only one word "sorry"...... Anyway, had no choice being 11th hour situation... so took the truck on Sunday, moved and then drove back to Mississauga and left the truck at the location at 2:30 AM. . So my advice to all of you; when book a truck take something in writing with 100% guarantee NOT with 99% confirmation and then telling you that you will receive a re-confirmation call one day before the move..... very scary situation when they say "sorry"..... And always have booking in another company just in case....
