I was promised a truck would be available in Wetaskiwin Alberta. It wasn't. I had had to drive an extra 30 km to pick up and return a truck from Millet. As a result, I ran over on my allotted mileage and had to pay extra. I was compensated for the mixup by being given an extra day to move. The truck itself was in great condition mechanically and overall.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkHad reserved a truck twice from sw edmonton l, Daniels way area, truck was rebooked to someone else after we reserved it, then no truck was available the day we needed it at Nisku pick up location, when it said its available, person at pickup location said it was 14hrs late being returned but we were not notified of this, and had to search down another truck, which we were then sent to Millet Location, u-haul website wouldn't load, website issues, delayed rental, not the representative who was there fault, he did his best. Not a great experience dealing with Uhaul this time.
Jan HSo, where do we start with this adventure?? First, I book for pick up in Leduc, then receive a phone call the night before from UHaul stating that Leduc doesn't have the 26' truck available but yet when I called to book it, Leduc had it. So, they made us drive an extra HOUR out of the way to go and pick up the 26' truck or they could only get me a 20' one. Then only compensate us for 22km not 25km or 50km extra. Like its such a big deal to 'cover extra milage'. Then we pick it up and the gas tank was not at the same level as it was stated on the bill. Says it was fuller then 1/4 tank and it definitely was not. Then they wouldn't accept my brothers ID, then he wouldn't take MY ID after UHAUL accepted it.
