Went to rent the vehicle and employee told me he did not know how to do a rental. Sent me to a different location.

The staff at this location was very unprofessional and rude. The female that assisted me tried to hold 50 miles on my card at 99 cent per mile. I advised her that she can not do that unless it is a U-Haul policy, and it must be posted on the website. She then tried to hold 20 miles, and I declined that as well. I advised her she can only hold the estimated miles that I put in when I reserved the truck. She tried to explain that it's the store manager's policy, and that I needed to speak with him. He wasn't in the store at that time. She finally went with the original miles I reserved. She did not give a check list for the previous damage to the truck. I explained to her that all locations normally give that. She said they didn't have a list, and that I can just take pictures. When I returned the truck the male that assisted me just took the keys, and said you will get an email tomorrow. I asked was there any paperwork showing I returned the truck tonight and he said no. I believe that this uhaul store can improve by following U-Haul's policy versus making up their own. This type of business seems shady and very unprofessional.

The truck was dirty, check engine light was on & the brake light was. While driving on the interstate the truck hesitated & cut off. The guy at the rental location was not at the site when I returned the truck. I did speak to him via telephone. I informed him of the problems I had with the truck. He basically told me that wasn't true but that he would look into it & call me. He never called to address my problems or concerns. This was the worse experience ever. I also have video of all the lights that was on in the truck.

We originally had an order at the General Storage location in McDonough. They are Terrible. They gave us false information. And thankfully the lady on the phone helped us and got us a credit back for the truck not being there and because that location lied to us.

When i reserved online it said this was the closest location. It definetely was not close to me, or where i needed to go. i paid for alot of miles i wouldnt have needed to pay for if it would have given me a closer location online.

Agent spoke terrible English. The entire time he was on the phone ...most of the time, I was not sure if he was speaking to me or his friend on the phone. His orientation of how to use the car dolly was awful and he did not take the time to explain how to connect it to the tires on the car. I had to spend an additional $125.00 to get a tow truck to assist me with the process. The equipment was old, noisy and dirty. I arrive at my destination @4:00 am and woke up the entire neighborhood because the noise level was so loud. I will never recommend UHaul or use your equipment again. I never been so disappointed with a service provider in my entire life. I stated that I wanted to return the car dolly in my home city... somehow the agent put the return location 25 miles from my home. The agent in my hometown indicated a wrong drop off charge of $40.00. Your customers should not be responsible for UHaul's inventory management process. She explained that the agent will assign a location to help manage UHaul inventory level at different sites. I have had better service level from the insurance and used car industries, which we all know are scum and crooks!

This is the second time I have rented from this location, both times they attempted to overcharge me. Had I not been paying attention to my invoice they would have charged me double the rental charge. One time an accident, twice, a way of doing business.

The heat in the truck didn’t work so we had drive three hours with our infant son. I’m so disappointed! We called the gas stationed where we picked up the truck and they won’t call us back.

The lady at the service station did not know how to hook up my 5x8 trailer and told me to do it myself. She didn’t even come outside. I had to ask another customer to help me. I left that Location with no break lights as I did not have the proper connector/adapter. I called the 1-800 number to ask if I needed break lights and the lady said absolutely!! She got me in touch with the Stockbridge U-Haul center and I went there and got the adapter I needed and had the gentleman hook the trailer up correct, as he said it was wrong and could have broke. I would NEVER recommend that Mcdonough location for U-Haul.

Do not go here!!! I reserved a 26ft truck, when I arrived they didn’t have my reserved truck. The clerk offered me a 20ft truck instead, being that I already had people waiting to help me with my move, I had no other choice but to take it. In which that caused more trips and more miles. The starting mileage on my paperwork was different from the actual gauge reading, I took a picture, took it inside for the clerk to verify. Still didn’t update it in the system, causing me to be charged for mileage that I hadn’t driven. Now 53.00 overcharge on my card, the manager has yet to respond and refund my 53.00. I am now in the midst of filing a dispute with my credit card company and request an entire refund for poor service.

The drop off location was horrible. The staff again was unprofessional not wanting to help I had to do everything myself with dropping the truck and tow off. The location owner was very rude and not friendly at all. I will contact the uhaul corporate office and file a complaint. I would. It recommend uhaul to my worse enemy.

The lady we dealt with when we picked up was horrible. Rented us a truck that was in the back of the rest of the trucks. She made us move the trucks to get to the one she rented to us because it was on the receipt. She didn't pull up my reservation to see my ordered equipment and didn't make sure the hand dolly we reserved was in the truck. We had to come back in a seperate trip to get the the hand truck. They didnt have the hand truck We wanted in my reservation so she charged me more for the one they had available. She was holding a conversation on her phone the whole time she was 'helping' us. Drop off was totally different. The lady there was nice, paid attention to us and made it painless!

This location apparently had no one available to assist us in hooking up the trailer. I have towed before, so that was not critical; however if this was someone's first time, they would have received no help. There was no inspection of the towing vehicle as stated would be done in the U Haul material; there was nothing except signing the papers and out the door. No help was offered.
