The ppl was not nice and every unprofessional
At first, the gas station attendant, who spoke little English and didn't seem to understand much either, and who communicated via phone with the man in charge of the UHaul portion of the business, told me there was no reservation in my name, even though I was showing her the email confirming the reservation for that location. It took a trip to the main UHaul location to straighten it out. We finally got the truck two hours later, with no apology for the mixup. Everything was fine with the truck. All the extras (blankets, dollies, etc.) were in the truck and it was clean, but the customer service at the Chevron station left a lot to be desired. The man in charge should have been there to deal with it.
Have the Truck they order and only charge them if they actually take if
When I got there to pick up my rental. Equipment was missing, and I had to sift through all the vehicles to find the dolly that was at the location. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the missing equipment, yet I checked my receipt this morning and found out that I was. There was no customer service whatsoever. Never again.
The check in and check out process is frustrating. Even though I got there when no one was initially there they checked out people for about 15 minutes. I started to complain then they made me wait a while longer before assisting me. I would not rent from here ever again.
There is the Uhaul center that would have been much easier to work with, much more organized. There was nothing negative other than just organization of having a third-party gas station and the complications of that rather than a uhaul store.
This is a rip off. When I rented the equipment online my choice of drop off loca8was General Screven road in Hinesville GA. When I dropped it off at that location I called and told them and checked in the equipment. Now they charging me a fee for incorrect drop location. This is a Ripoff. I will dispute it with my credit card company. This is not the location that I dropped off the equipment. U HAUL got it wrong and is incorrectly and illegally charging me an unauthorized fee for incorrect drop off location. I never even been to Alabama.
At this time, I do not recommend this location. The owner of this location kept informing me (through the gas station clerk) that I did not have a reservation, even when presented with my email reservation confirmation. I was stranded at this location and had to call U-Haul to reconfirm my reservation. By the time I was able to speak with a u-Haul Customer Service Representative, significant time had elapsed. This owner delayed by moving and rendered me stranded at this location. The phone number to this location forwards to another number, where nobody answers or returns voicemails.
Instead of sending me miles away from the location I requested I was sent to a gas station with no signs saying the uhaul customer service was in that location
The truck was really beat up and just wasn't professional.
Clean the vans also make sure doors are functional the rear door would not open
It's a gas station convenience store, not what I expected to drop off at. It served the purpose though. Clerk was friendly.
The cashier has no clue about truck rentals. She barely speaks English!! I had to wait 30 mins bc its a busy Chevron and she was the only person there. Everytime there was a new lotto person. The truck was terrible! Mufflers made me think I had a Harley Davidson. Also she has no idea about anything aboht Uhual. I will NEVER rent from a location that is not an actual Uhual site NVER AGAIN!
If there is a newer truck should offer it.
Include frequent renters or rewards program
I had awesome customer service. Being an inexperienced truck driver was scary, but they were patient.
Not charge somebody double the amount for the uhaul they rented. I was told the entire total was $45.51. Highly frustrated I'm paying double the amount of money for a uhaul because someone isn't competent enough to do their job correctly.
Clean out debris in back of the truck.
All the equipment I reserved was not available at time of pickup.

I was not able to receive any of the dollies or blankets that I had reserved. The truck was filthy and full of dirt and pollen as if it had been sitting with the window down. I returned the truck back early between the time of 10-11 am, but was charged for another day. After being told I would not be charged for a dolly, I was still charged for one. Worst experience ever. Still waiting on my refund for the dolly and extra day charge.
Make sure the vehicle is clean before renting to someone new.
