we made a reservation by phone and when we got there (½ hour after making the reservation) a guy told us he had no truck for us. My husband told him we had a reservation and his exact words were "You can make a reservation all day but if you get here and we don't have the truck, we don't have the truck. I don't even see your name in our system with a reservation! We don't have anything for you." I then called the number we made the reservation through and put them on speaker. The same guy (sorry, don't know his name. He did have long dreads. Apologies, only way to distinctly describe him without a name) started telling me again that "you and make a reservation all day.....blah, blah, blah). And the lady on the phone asked me to hold on. She then called this store and the general manager Albert also happened to be in the store now (he was originally outside) and the guy that was helping us answered the phone and was talking to the lady. Albert then overheard the conversation and told him he had our reservation and everything was ok and he had a truck for us and told the guy to tell the lady on the phone he would take care of us. Funny that all of a sudden we magically appeared in the system with a reservation. The guy said "oh, you told me a 15' truck and we have you down for a 17' truck!!" My husband said "you just told us you didn't even see our name in your system!" Then he started back peddling!!!! "Oh, I see you now, for a 17' I see it!!" BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!! Albert apologized profusely and said he would speak to the guy!! Said the guy was new and he was truly sorry. Albert was wonderful!! The other guy.......horrid!!! The other new guy entering all of our info in the system was also fantastic - Thomas (I think). This was not a good experience as we had a specific time to move my mother in law into a Alzheimers home and we were really late due to the problems!!! Not a good way to help a good customer!!

This was the worst experience we have had at uhaul. The man behind the counter kept my family waiting for half an hour or more because he was ordering his lunch. He also treated my family very disrespectfully. My cousin is calling uhaul to talk to a manager about this employee.

Uhaul service was very unprofessional, I was lied to, harassed, and overcharged! Moving is stressful enough but uhaul added additional stress on top! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again

Make sure that the employee can handle the work load and when the customer is overcharged due to the stressed employee that the responds not be i probably cant get your refund back because you returned the truck already. Not ok.. how would they feel if money was taken without permission??

Address listed for original drop-off location (e.g. Wireless Hub 2 8701 River Road; Waggaman, LA) WAS A PARK!!!! All efforts to contact via phone number listed (504-341-2832) were unsuccessful. All calls went to voicemail!!!! Finally was able to coordinate alternate drop-off location (7201 W Bank Expwy Marrero, LA 70072) w/ U-Haul dispatch. Alternate location went smooth as silk.

After returning the Truck. The employees explained to me that I didn't choose the right contract and I could have otherwise saved a lot of money. How retarded are these employees that they cannot make that suggestion before I rent the damn truck.

What we were told when we made the reservation and the end result at drop off was two different things. We were told our price was for a 2 day rental and if returned early we would get some money back. We returned it same day within 9 hours. We were then told that we didn't get any money back because they didn't charge us for it and that was the going rate. Mind you my contract had a pick up date of Friday and return date of Sunday. Very disappointed with the outcome of this. Besides the poor customer service with lack of information everything else was fine.
