I came in with a picture abbr dimensions of what I needed to haul. The rep told me which truck to get. I rented it but the jungle gym couldn't fit. I went back and they said I had to pay for mileage. I want even gone an hour. If I hadn't asked for the size I would have been ok. Now I have to rent again from home depot. I'll dispute with corporate. It's unethical.

I had to go to three locations to get the uhaul truck. First one did not have a truck which I had reserved, they sent me to the 2nd one did not either. But the last one did have a truck which I was thankful.

The call center I was routed to, is a joke, they reserved me 3 times at wrong locations. Apologized, gave me a real time no. To get a truck, it was a fax no. The location I got the truck was fine, prov never use u haul again though. And I have used you soooo many times.

Too many questions to check availability, girl on phone said they couldn’t hold a trailer for 5-10 minutes without credit card. I was on my way when i called to check and the girl was very pushy about getting my credit card information before my arrival.

My rental worked out fine, but the process in getting the actual truck cost me a lot of time and money. I made an appointment to pick up the truck at 8am on Sunday and was told by someone working at that location that wasn’t a problem. I show up at 8 to get the truck and had people arriving at my house shortly after, which I was paying, only to find that the location opens at 9am and I can’t get my truck. I didn’t get back with my truck until 9:30. That’s over an hour that I had to pay people do to almost nothing because someone couldn’t schedule my pickup correctly. I was given half off the flat rate, but then was billed for it anyway and I still haven’t received the credit after pointing out this error via the email address that was provided. Bad doesn’t begin to describe my experience. Wish someone from corporate would call me back; I was told that someone would.

This location did an excellent job in customer service. My issue with UHaul. They called me just hours before I was scheduled to pick up the truck to change the location pickup to another place that was out of my way and did not have the 15' truck I reserved. At a $1/mile for the extra distance I now would need to drive, plus the larger truck I did not want...that added up quickly. I requested to be compensated for the inconvenience, the mileage difference and the extra gas consumption the larger vehicle would use. Customer Service replied that they would not be charging extra for the larger truck. As much as that was appreciated, I did not want a larger truck. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of concern from UHaul.

Fix your website. It is easy to use but if you edit your needs, it changes things you’ve selected. I changed the day I needed the truck and it changed the number of days needed from 5 to 1, ordered 3 dozen moving blankets and it zeroed them. Maybe ask customer if they want to change these things; don’t auto-zero them.

The staff was great very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend to a friend for local moving. One thing was the truck had a hatch that kept falling off on my knee while driving, but once I finally banged it in place it stayed on the remainder of the trip. The gas tank was given on a quarter tank for a one way haul to FL from GA. (just felt it should have started on a full tank for a long drive) minor details.
