First time I have used this location. I called on a Thursday afternoon to rent a trailer for the next day. I received their answering machine. I left a message for a return call. I was worried I would not get a return call in time to rent my trailer. I received my return call Thursday afternoon and reserved a trailer. Friday morning I received two more return calls from different employees wanting to assist me with a trailer. When I went to get my trailer it was a very simple process. Very friendly people. They are busy so bare with them when calling to make a reservation. The phone rang the entire time I was there. I will definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone.

Reserved a trailer for 1:30 pm online. Paid and verified to save time, as I was in a time crunch to get this done and back to my brother-in-laws house to dress for my mother-in-laws funeral. Arrived at the shop at 1:20. Door locked. Attendant appeared crossing the lawn with a bag lunch and cell phone on her ear. I tried to alert her that I was there to pick up a trailer but she either didn't hear me or ignored me. Went into shop and locked the door. Sign on door "Out to Lunch Back at 2". She sat in the shop eating her lunch with door locked until precisely 2 PM. As we were completing the paperwork I discovered that I had left my drivers license by my computer while filling out the rental forms. Went back for license and returned about 15 minutes later. Finally got trailer and on my way to the funeral, but arrived just as it was concluding. The license issue was my fault, but if we had discovered the problem at 1:30 I would have had time to complete the pick-up and still be in time for the funeral. If the online contract says pick-up is at 1:30, I expect pick-up at 1:30 unless there are extenuating circumstances. "Out to lunch" is not an acceptable reason to put off a customer with a contracted time to pick up equipment. This is terrible customer service. Everything else went smoothly and efficiently, but the staffer needs to either do their job as contracted, or they need to amend the times of pick-up listed on the online forms to exclude their sacred lunch hour.

The roof leaked significantly and damage 3 mattresses, 3 box springs and the upholstered bed frame for one of the them. These items were dripping wet upon removal from the truck!!! The last thing I wanted to do is go through the claim process upon moving into our new house. Not to mention we can't setup the beds. VERY, VERY UNACCEPTABLE!! Uhaul has a great reputation but the lack of maintenance to this truck has caused us alot of trouble. I hope your claim company is respectable and handles this appropriately!!!

The rental agent Pam at one of your Mandeville location left for lunch when she knew I was on my way. I had talked to her about 15 mins before I arrived at 11:50 at the other location in Mandeville and Tilly gave me directions to the right location. When Pam had left at 11:57 and left me stranded with movers waiting for the truck, thankfully Tilly called to see if we had found the right location and when I told her my situation, she came to the location and did the rental for me. I'm very grateful for her help, she saved me from a huge expense with the packers not having to sit around and wait until Pam returned an hour later from her lunch. I feel Pam did me and U-Haul a great disservice by leaving when I had talked to her about 15 mins before telling her I was in Covington and headed her way. Kudos to Tilly and I hope some kind of reprimand to Pam. I have used U-Haul many times and this would have been the last if it hadn't been for Tilly. She saved the day for me an a customer for U-Haul. Thank you, Brenda Ryder

The app needs many improvements. Many times when I went to use the app I was told there was an error or no service. It was to the point that when I went to start the pick up of my U-Haul, I was unable to and had to order another. I called the service number it told me to call and when I was frustrated, the woman stayed on the phone with me for over 20 minutes not responding or speaking. Then, the other U-Haul I ordered was not at the location it told me. Many times I’ve also used U-Haul and they have given my uhaul awau after I’ve reserved it. Too many times the experience is way more stressful than it needs to be.

They overcharge your credit card. My bill was $95 but I was charged $116. If you use them check your final charges. They admit it on the phone but blame the bank. I'd use another company.

Made reservation online and requested truck was ready for pick-up at agreed time. Dropped off after location closed and received email with final billing summary adjusted for lower mileage used than expected. Would use this location for future truck rental.

My wife attempted to return our trailer at the prescribed time, but found that the entire staff was out to lunch. She waited, and was then sent to a second lot where drop-offs occur. They then sent her to another lot, half way across town, where, when she arrived, they were on a separate, differently timed lunch. She left the trailer where the signs indicated. I then later received a call from the lot attempting to charge an additional fee because the trailer was "Returned Late".
