I've done business with this location many times over the past 20 years and it's usually a decent experience. I realize that all we were doing for this time around was dropping off a trailer but the young man who handled it barely acknowledged my presence, didn't give any kind of greeting and, when the trailer was unhitched, just walked away while saying "All set". I value customer service and friendliness in my interactions and he definitely could have been more helpful. What if I was a customer who didn't know how the system worked and had questions or was nervous about whether I was doing everything right? Whatever kind of day you're having, you have to remember that you CHOSE to work in customer service - if you don't like the job, find another.

The online process is the problem, I was given a price and when I went to pick up they wanted to charge me more just because I was using cash. Why did I need to put a credit card number down when I reserved then?!? Completely ridiculous

I was offered a discount to drop off at “white river junction, vt.” I accepted however never received the contract except for online. Well, I’m in the middle of moving and don’t have access to online today. With a snowstorm coming I opted to drop off that night rather than waiting to drive the next day. I called and to my surprise, it was Springfield,VT. Over 60 miles out of my way. I get to the location and had a sign on the drop box that said I couldn’t drop off there. Then I get a bill for pads. Are you kidding. I dropped off all the pads. I’m not keeping cheap furniture pads that oh by the way cost a fraction of what you are charging me. So I get charged to rent them then get charged to purchase them when you say I didn’t return them. Unfortunate for me that this is the only thing I didn’t take pictures of. I took pictures of the “stack” just not the individual ones. Super sad that this company has brand recognition but I will be sure to tell all of my military partners not to use U haul.

Appreciate their handling of a call center miscue which almost prevented me from getting my 26’ reserved truck on 12/7/19...cudos to the ‘desk girl’ and manager that day; could use better communication between when you rent the truck and where/who you see to get the truck.

I made a reservation by phone. I was to pick up the truck at 6 o’clock, and the truck wasn’t back yet. So I had to wait 20 minutes to get a different truck.
