Computer system was down and no employees working Mechanic gave the keys after having written my name. No checking vehicle no contract fuel half full. Price was crazy for 1 day 40 miles$120.00 + $ 30 gas I put in. Should have been a discount

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulThe truck was empty of fuel when we picked it up. We had to back track 5 km to get fuel. We were charged for those 5 km. When we opened the back it was full of rust and wet rust. We had to clean it before we could load anything in it. The price was ridiculous. Will NOT recommend that location to anyone.

ROBIN VThese comments are not directed towards the staff in Madoc, who were helpful and knowledgeable. However, I am very disappointed with the way in which UHaul has billed for these rentals, and how hidden charges have rendered the costs exorbitant. I am also extremely disappointed in how my insurance coverage for the trailer declined to cover damage to my vehicle. The truck I used was an out of state vehicle that was not running properly . The gas mileage started out fine and then become poor, with nobody acknowledging or even investigating possible leaks or engine troubles despite several reports from me . I brought the truck back with an empty tank in case there was a hazard from a possible fuel leak. Extra mileage charges were also added without any warning at the time of rental that the charges were 1 dollar per km. I would not have rented this particular vehicle had I known. My move started in Kingston. The only truck available was in Madonna. I was charged mileage for the return trip and then mileage again when nobody was available to help load the trailer two days later. There is also confusion about the cost of the trailer , which was supposed to have been billed out from the 3rd, when it was picked up, as per the kind folks in Madoc. I would appreciate a manager reviewing this matter and resolving it fairly. Thank you.
