I was surprised that the gas gauge was on 1/8 of a tank.
I dropped-off by using the electronic drop off due to Covid. I did not see the inside of the building or any personnel.
During Covid-19 issue, it would have been more comfortable if the employees wore masks.
Good Customer Service
The first truck was damaged and had engine trouble. Please do not rent damaged trucks with engine trouble in the future. The employees gave me the keys to a better truck quickly so we could complete the move well. Thank you. They all did their jobs correctly. Their helpfulness made us all have a great day!
Customer service was poor
When I got the truck, it was not explained to me the difference in price for one way rental and 29.95 actual price of truck rental since I was only going 27 miles. I was not happy being charged $109 rental fee for one way as opposed to 29.95 for truck plus mileage which would have been cheaper. Then when I returned truck with full tank of gas was charged $25.90 saying it was reading 3/4 tank. If it takes 1/4 tank to go less than 30 miles then your equipment is faulty. I am not at all happy with this service. I called customer service and have to wait 3 days for a response.
short-staffed (one working) and computer was glitchy - took about 45 minutes to check out, even though I had reserved online. Not blaming the staff (one poor soul trying to work under very challenging conditions) but not the best experience...
Have truck pulled out and ready to go.. not stuck between other trucks and difficult to get in to...

I couldn't get the bar code to scan properly, had to go inside.
Honestly just using the website was the hardest part. I couldn't get my license photo to upload and had my checkout screen freeze up. The location and employees always do a good job. I used truck and storage five years ago and that was also clean facility, truck, and great customer service!

Excellent experience! Would recommend the Lynchburg location to all my friends and family. The manager was extremely helpful and upon my arrival had me checked in within 5 minutes.
Inform customers of gate hours for storage when theyre returning their truck at 12a and rented your truck at 6p and they close at 7p and didn't think to say anything to me about the hours of the unit to extend in the first place, however the Sunday 10a person was AMAZING extending my truck rental another day and refunding the sotrage unit I couldn't use.
I was hit in the head with the auto door.... the attendant said it doesn't work well when it rains. I have a bruise and bump! The man there was rude. The lady at least ask if I was ok.
The movers I hired through U-Haul did not show up and this caused a lot of distress and I had to find another way to load my stuff through hiring movers outside of Uhaul. I made an initial payment to have my belongings moved that came to no avail. Your Way Movers did not return my calls or text messages. I request in the future Uhaul have movers who are dependable because moving is very stressful on it's own, not to mention when movers who were paid dont show up.
The staff put on their face coverings as I entered the office (as opposed to using them when working, regardless of whether there was a customer present), and the touch- less payment option wasn't working. The staff were relatively friendly and helpful; however, I was concerned about Covid compliance. I suspect the issue was more of a training concern - not sure what the management is doing to assist the staff. Vehicle was in great condition and all went well with that. Thank you!
Just a better idea of the timeframe to issue a credit back to my bank account so I'm not left wondering when or if. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff and helpful.
Had a truck that had a bad battery. Uhaul took care of the problem for free. It's a shame some people take advantage of this service. Uhaul really stepped up to fix the issue. My respect.
More employees to help customers.
Getting the Barcode to work when doing mobile pick up would be helpful. It didn't work for me. Also took awhile for assistance when dropping off vehicle.
