Truly the worst experience ever from start to end. I arrived at the pick up location to watch someone drive away in the only uhaul truck in sight. Spoke to a young girl who had literally no idea about anything, seemed as if my presence was her utmost annoyance and then shooed me off to another uhaul location. She was unable to provide a phone number of someone to help and didn’t care to help or apologize for anything. As I was driving off someone was dropping off a truck so I waited for them to see if I could take that. It took me over 25 minutes and an immense amount of frustration to go through the process of getting a truck. I was paying movers by the hour and this huge mistake cost me money. When I left I asked her about gas and she said I didn’t need to fill the tank. I got my receipt today and noticed that I was paid over $100 for a quarter tank of gas!!!!!!! She lied to me and I’m now stuck with the most ridiculous bill. It’s was one of the worst experiences ever!! And I know U-Haul isn’t going to do anything to make this right. Next time; I’m just going to get a truck from Home Depot, the experience there can’t get any worse than this. U-Haul should truly be ashamed and embarrassed to treat people like this.
