Had to travel extra 175 miles to retrieve uhaul. When I ordered said would be available & wasn't. I completely understand it happens, however not only did I have to find a way to travel extra 175 miles, had to also come up with money for fuel for extra 175 miles. Not for sure why I had to pay so much extra money for a mistake I didn't make. Unhappy customer.

This location was not the one I had originally selected. Your online process automatically selected this location for me because there were no trucks available at my original location. This is not made obvious when using the online tool. We ended up going to original location. This caused issues because I had movers set up to meet us at a designated time. You need to do more to let online users aware when the equipment is not available at a specific location.

Gas guage was broken. Using the info sheet, I should have had to add 4 gallons. I added 4, it did not move. Added another 3, nothing. Added 5 more, and suddenly it is full! I paid to fill their tank when I only had to go to 5/8! I know they're just going to siphon it and use it to fill a tank that someone else did not return at the correct mark, after charging them 6x the price per gallon! Plus, mileage is way too expensive. The whole thing is a scam!

Zachary Lade is very unprofessional and down right RUDE. He told my daughter do it yourself by taking car off transport or pay $21.95. After she already paid over $3,000.00 to U-Haul. Then he jumped in the 26’ truck loaded and drove it so fast down a hill around thre curves to drop off the transport when there was plenty of room to do it where my daughter took vehicle off. When we arrived at our destination all of our stuff shifted and (2) Two TV’s are shattered, Mirrors that were bubble wrapped with your green wrap and quilts are also shattered, Shelf busted to pieces. Don’t know what else at this time is demolished. Can’t replace memories from my Grandmother. Especially when the U-Haul was just checked by my daughter to get waters and food out of the back of the 26’ U-Haul. I’m so discussed with Zachary Lade and the way he handle our FURNITURE AND LIFE THAT IS NOW GONE. My daughter even took out Insurance and she didn’t have a problem her entire way which was 1800 miles. Please help ASAP! Contact me Her mother, Rhonda @ 561-405-1434 Thank you kindly.

When I showed the charges and asked to split the bill between cash and charge with the cash ONTHECOUNTER in front of the AGENT he charged my WHOLE amount on the card!!!!!!!! I now have to pay an overdraft of 39 dollars ON TOP of the fees that were 140 over my quote when I only had 66 dollars in milage... He argued with me, I could see in his face that he was not listening to a word I said, he kept interrupting me and then kept trying to PROVE me wrong we hen I had evidence to the contrary right in front of him. They had to amend the miles on my contract and I overheard an agent say that "she drove 1000 plus miles. I feel like because it was 66 dollars for the millage then my total was 140 more than my quote that I was charged either double for safe move OR I was charged double for milage. I am a great customer for U-HAUL. My family moved 8 times in 3 years and to move small items we rent U-Haul every time. Equipment is always returned the way I receive it. If this is not dealt with correctly I will make sure to take my business elsewhere as through the course of my divorce I will be using a van/truck rental at least 3 more times. I will also let all my family and friends as well as review U-Haul and it's policies on my influential social media and blog.

I had an issue with lights. Uhaul originally put the tow package on our vehicle and I stopped a week before I needed the trailer to make sure the lights worked because I've had that issue before. They didn't, so I took it back to get it fixed which they said they did. On the day I needed to pick it up, the lights weren't working again. The guy told me since they just fixed it, it had to be a car problem. I called the local Chrysler dealer and he said it was NOT a car issue but a uhaul issue. So the guy at Uhaul finally agreed to look at it again and sure enough, there was a Uhaul issue. It set my day back about 4 hours. So if you're going to rent a trailer, make sure your lights work on it before you pick it up so that you don't waste half a day dinking around with it.
