i rented a Uhaul truck and a 10 ft storage unit. i drove to Lexington from Louisville only to be told there is no storage unit available. How can you email a confirmation notice for a storage unit when there is not one available? This is fraudulent !

I rented a pickup truck. Overall, I am fine with the price and vehicle in this rental. One regrettable thing, however. This truck had less than 2000 miles on it and previous customer/customers must have chain smoked in it. The air conditioning had that awful cigarette/cheap hotel room smell that wouldn't go away. I had to ride with the windows down and air conditioning on. It really was bad. No exaggeration. I put up with it, but it was gross.

Very busy location that is well equiped and has a really good range of supplies. If there was a way to check in on line to shorten the process at the store, it would be a good thing, cause the check in and check out procedure for equipment is time consuming. Think about adopting methods for the car rental places.

The counter sales people are extremely rude. Richard was on the phone for 15 minutes while customers were waiting in line. The young lady that did check us in had an attitude like they were doing us a favor for renting their vehicle. Lawrence, the gentleman who checked me in today, had excellent customer service. He was a delight to work with. The counter sales needs a lot of help.

The truck was fine - Store was to open on Sunday at 9am. Nobody even showed up to unlock doors until 9.15 - there was a line of 6-7 customers outside waiting. We placed order for a 17' truck and they didn't have one so we ended up with 15' - not that big of deal. The wait was the problem due to no employees - didn't get out store until after 10.15am and was there at 8.55am waiting for them to open.

They failed to scan my return in until 2 days later. They can’t seem to be able to get a manager to resolve it. Video survalience shows it was turned in.

There were too many people standing around which added to the confusion and already stressful day. Seemed that the cigarette break was more important than my reservation. Don't get me wrong because I smoke but I don't think that needs to be discussed in front of customers. I will not eat at a restaurant where upon my arrival a employee or several employees are standing out back smoking. I think that it is tacky and reflects on the establishment and manager in charge.

I experienced some rather frustrating problems with my reservation. I had submitted a reservation a handful of days in advance (granted a little short), but after speaking to a representative at a what I suppose now was the central office, my wife and I were assured that our desired truck would be available during the time we required at the New Circle RD location. However, approximately 2 minutes before pick-up time (short notice to the extreme) a representative at the New Circle location called to inform me that my reservation, despite being confirmed the previous day, could not be fulfilled. Once inside the store, I was told that such a reservation would have been impossible even if I had called more than 2 weeks before. The store representative was helpful in finding a truck + a trailer that would fit our needs, averting moving day disaster. What I find VERY UNACCEPTABLE is the apparent disconnect between the central office and individual stores. My experience was apparently not the first, according to the in-store representative, where the central office made and confirmed a reservation that had no possibility of being filled. This should not happen.

When I arrived to pick up my U-Haul truck they were not able to locate the key. I had to wait 2 hours total from arrival to be able to pick up my U-Haul staff was very unprofessional.
