First of all, I had a number of issues when with my last rental from U-Haul. But I won't go into all of the problems. They were never resolved and I had a very sub-optimal experience. I was surprised to get this survey because it was over 9 months ago when I last rented from U-Haul. It was so long ago that I thought this was a spam or phishing e-mail message. You stated that you want feedback on my "recent experience" with U-Haul. I think the timeliness of this message pretty much sums up my experience and my thoughts about how much you care about your customers.William S.

So, location was not where listed. The only indication of the office is a U Haul sign on the ground (looks like office is now shared with a church???). Had to walk in and search for help. Overall not very helpful. Requested to have receipt sent by email, waited in the parking lot due to uneasy feeling and contacted corporate at which the owner(?) walked back out finally and said it had been sent (despite me being the only customer there for an hour and zero other activity). Was made to feel uncomfortable when the individual kept insisting that I pay a different amount in cash and then essentially held my receipt until I contacted customer service.Timothy B.

The man at the church had my truck ready. Reason I did not give it a higher score was after I had my reservation and pick up point . My pick up point changed. I did not know where I was going to pick up my rental. Had to use google maps. paid a little more to uber to get there.Elliott F.
I was overcharging one my first day of Rental by $53. I called the owner and notified him that I was stuck in traffic and he said Ok. Get here before 5 pm. I got there. I rented the truck at 3:54pm. He charged me for 2 days. Also, he didn't want to give me an itemized bill. I came back and I had to insist on the second day that I get an itemized bill because the totals were not adding up to my calculations. I return the truck on time and replaced the gas. I found that he had charged me $14 when he said it would be $10 for the extended warranty. Then he tried to give me a $20 credit towards another rental. I called my bank and disputed the charges. He left me to believe that he was cheating me. Very bad experience.Charles W.
