I had a one way reservation that I could nit afford so I had to cancel that reservation and get an intown truck to put my belongings in storage. I went to the University Center location .04 miles from my home and was told that I had to go to a Corporate location because they were concerned I was going to take the intown rental for a one way trip. That was very insulting. You are now accusing me of being a thief when in fact I do not have a record, I have been using Uhaul for years and I worked for the company 12 years ago. By making me go to the other location u added over 10 miles to my trip and wouldnt credit any of the miles. Customer service is getting worse and worse at uhaul. This may have been my last straw. I spend anywhere between $1000 and $2000 a year with Uhaul, u would think they would like to keep frequent movers happy.

Great customer service
The rented truck had less than1/8 of a tank of gas. I do not believe this is acceptable. I had to purchase $60 worth of hitch and ball because the one on the truck was welded. I had my own but couldn't fit it because of the welded ball.
I was not happy having to drive +30min to a bad end of town to pick up my trailer. Regardless of signing something that my location could change, being told to go that far with so many other locations in between is terrible.
Rent out safe vehicles in working condition and check them out first.

While I understand that unexpected situations can arise, we were delayed on being able to pick up our trailer by over 24 hours. We were told we had to drive over an hour away to pick up another, only to get a call 20 minutes from that location that another trailer had been located. I have used UHaul many times throughout the years and have never experienced a disconnect such as this. This was not the original location, however. The original location was on Boulder Hwy. Because of this delay, we were unable to stop at a hotel and had to drive 24 hours straight to reach our destination in time. The UHaul hotline did their best to help, but at the end of the day this caused a tremendous amount of unneeded disruption. I have 2 auto-immune diseases and not being able to stop for 24 hours straight has sent me into a flare that over a week later, I'm still trying to recover from. It was unnecessary added stress that I have NEVER experienced with UHaul in the 10+ years I have used your company. This was the first time I was ever disappointed. Additionally, one of your associates at the Boulder Hwy location (last name is the same as mine - Hall) spent more time trying to be funny or clever/"hitting" on my friend and I than actually processing the information needed when I attempted to return my trailer, obtain my storage rental at the location, and rent another trailer. It was an uncomfortable and very slow situation due to his inability to even understand the system (which his co-workers made very clear that he had no idea what he was doing). When I dropped off a trailer back in July, my best friend was also with me and was also frustrated with his service and unprofessional manner. Again, Brittany and other people I talked to on the direct UHaul hotline were very helpful. However, on Wednesday 9/16, we received a phone call around 3 from the Boulder HWY location that the trailer was available, only for my S/O to arrive and be told it was broken. I do not understand why a call was placed that it was ready if the trailer itself was broken and wasted more of our time. Brittany had also authorized the use of my card on file and when my S/O (Nick Reed) arrived at the location, he was made to pay for it. This happened TWICE because of the back and forth. He did obtain his refund for the first charge, but he never should have had to pay for it to begin with. When I rented it, my card information was gathered. It was unnecessary money out of his pocket that he was not expecting to spend, and resulted in an overdraft because he does not often use banks EXCEPT for bill pay. This also resulted in his mortgage payment being declined because the funds were unavailable and he was 1100 miles from home. While the money was available to cover this additional expense, it should not have happened in the first place. It was verified there was a note on the account that my card was to be charged. While the service provided from the hotline was great, the original location (again BOULDER HWY) itself, I would not recommend THAT location to people I know based off the service received. Nick Reed picked up the trailer at the Fremont location and stated that they were very helpful and thorough, but was again charged. I have now developed a hesitancy to use UHaul after this experience, and hope it does not happen in the future. Thank you.

Outstanding customer service. Had just moved to Las Vegas and needed a UHaul to move in my furniture. I not knowingly booked my reservation for when this UHaul facility was closing and instead of them ignoring my reservation and closing, they took the time to call me and let me know. I then was running late and they even stayed open and extra 10 minutes for me.
Javier was great. Got me checked out on time and made my return a breeze.
The manager gave my info to the customer before me with out my permission because they lost some rings very unprofessional and now I'm still waiting for a call from the corporate manager...
This location has always been awesome over the years!
