I was so disscusted on May10th,2021.. I checked in on my reservation at 7am to pick up a 15ft truck only to be treated with disrespect and bad customer service. The person who checked me in was lazy and had a bad attitude. The person's name was Shantey. I walked far to get my rental truck only to discover garbage in the back cargo. I took picures. I returned to the front desk and Shantey asked that I drive it to their garage to get it cleaned....WTF ? I asked for a second truck only to discover the key hole of the driver door was defective and would not open. I took pictures. I returned to the front desk and Shantey had an attitude as though I was to blame. I was given a 3rd truck and I asked Shantey to assist me by moving the other rental trucks boxing me in which I waited for Shantey and never showed up. I walked back for assisrsbce only to discover Shantey texting on his phone totally ignoring my request for help. I was furious!!! I found another UHaul worker walking around who finally assisted me. Shantey never appologized from the beginning for any inconvinience U Haul caused me. I finally drove out at 7:45am. I had a previous complaint in Feb.2021 of a UHaul worker being rude . I made a report and was told t Vennessa the manager was going to call me in 3 days which the manager never did. Management seems to be laxing on customer service at the 1810 West Ave.J in Lancaster, Ca location. After filing a complaint today, I was told that Venessa the manager was going to call me in 3 days....I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT . Sad....Lester L.

Dolly was not in the truck and I had to return from 12 miles away. The tank was nearly empty so I had to put gas ASAP. Drop off location was never assigned.Arthur L.
Not enough people to help customers. 20 min wait before being helped, then another 30min to drop off. Also, very upset about the fuel charge. I drove 20 miles, put two gallons in. More than the gas I used. Yet I was charged for 3 more? Again, I drove 20 miles!!! Not happy.CHRISTOPHER H.
The cargo van that I rented smells like cat pee and was dirty on the inside and outside... the guy who helped us with rude and I was completely dissatisfied with everything about my rental plus you guys gave me a cargo van that had absolutely no gas in it literally as soon as I got in the car and took not even a mile the glut gas light indicator came onLEMAHI J.
Fix the transmission it was really jumpy and was not a smooth drive like other times. A lot of damage of vehicle that was not reported prior, so I had to take numerous pictures. Overall, I love this location for their customer service and great rentals.Joshua O.

I turned the equipment in on time (15 min before my contract ended) and before they closed online. But the store closed early and therefore I got hit with a late charge.CAMERON S.
I called a day in advance to get a 24 hour extension on a 3 day rental and was told that they had already rented out the 15 foot truck for 4pm to another customer today so i returned the truck at the original return time ( 1pm ) since i couldn't get an extension setting me back $350 for a truck i couldn't use. I feel like they should manage their way of doing business a little better but i will need another 2 day rental on Monday to complete my move by choosing a closer locationSTEPHEN F.

This location is under staffed or does not assign staff properly. I had to wait in like for 20 plus minutes with one employee. Also this location has an issue with systems failing. I went to return my rental and once again the system was down and could not get confirmation on check in for 2 days. Employees are friendly but very over worked. Have a back up system, in a event of a power outage, glitch in the Computers. The Computers were down for several hours, which things happens. However, I recommend individuals to continue to shop at this location. The Associates are very courteous and friendly.Kimberly G.

There should have been some provisions for after hours equipment drop off without charging for another day even after we spoke on the phone and they were fully aware that I was in route but got caught up in traffic, but the attendant was there took the equipment but charged me for an extra daySTEPHAN M.
