I arrived to rent a 5 x 8 open trailer. I was quoted $18 for 24/hrs. When I arrived, I was informed that it needed to be returned by 9pm because it was going out first thing in the morning. I asked for an alternative, since I drove all the way from the Westbank of New Orleans to this location because it had what I needed available. He said I could take a 5 x 9 for the same price and use it for 24hrs. But then after redoing my reservation and finalizing the paperwork, the man informed me that I would need to pay $24 for the upgrade. I was too agitated to complain, thinking at least I could use it for the full prepaid 24hrs. The next morning, my husband decided he didn’t need it any longer and returned it by 10am. He was informed that they were going to charge him an extra day for not returning it at 9pm the night before. Are you kidding?!!! They ultimately did not charge us the extra day however, my entire experience was totally unacceptable. We rent from uhaul rather frequently for local moves. I would completely NOT recommend the location at 1910 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Kenner, La. Very unhappy.

They had heat coming from the motor compartment burning my leg for three hours I explain to the guy he went to touch it when I pulled up and like to burn his hand It was the most miserable 3 Hour Dr. there and even worse coming home I don’t think I should’ve been charged full price I asked the guy about it he didn’t seem to care very bad customer service

Poor customer service. The guy there would send us outside in the heat waiting for someone there, and nobody was there untill he felt like it to atend us. I didnt even tell him thank you he didnt deserve it

upon return of rental truck less then 12 hours after pick up, they looked at the receipt and refunded $10 for a dolly rental where the dolly was not received. also noticed that the account was double charged for the rental $165 extra. They tried to correct the billing but could not. they recommended contacting the original location to have the false charge reversed.

These employees need better customer service and communication skills. It took your IT guy to assist me before you manager acknowledged that I was even in the store. Your IT guy was awesome by the way. Your manager Burton is very dry when dealing with customers. At my return I was not acknowledged by saying I’ll be with you in a moment or anything. I work in a customer service driven business and this was a horrible experience. I utilize this store for convenience.

We called and made an appointment for a church installment and when we showed up, they said they didn't have time to fit us in the schedule but we had already made an appointment ahead of time. This happened twice in two separate locations. We had to delay our move. Also we rented a trailer and paid for wiring and they tail lights on the trailer didn't work the whole way. Very dissatisfied.

I booked 2 wks early to pick up at this location. It was booked, so I picked another but was told to ask about this location when i got my confirmation call. I did. Nothing was avail & my truck was given away. I was told I could drive an extra hour and get a truck. Horrible reservation system & will never use again. Drop off took an hour and mgr was completely swamped but doing his best. Staffing & education definitely needs to be addressed as there was not one happy customer there. The biggest complaint was people booking trucks & being told that they were not available. I will use someone who will guarantee my truck next time. We had to settle for a van & make 2 trips.

I dropped the trailer off at Uhaul on the corner of Veterans Blvd and Williams Blvd the same day and the very next day I get a call from Uhaul asking when was I going to drop it off. I told them when and where I did and then I get another call from Uhaul on N Causeway in Metairie and I receive a receipt for another $30 charge (unauthorized) to my credit card. I need a credit for that charge because I already paid for the rental.

The 10 ft truck was really hard to fill up with gas, the pump would shut off every 2 seconds, so took a long time to fill, better for in town and not a one way.

It took me almost a half hour just to return the truck. Only one person was working. It may have helped if he was friendly, but he was NOT. Other than that, the rental went fine.

Only one person working and could care less how long I had to wait. On the return the same thing happened; I waited with the truck as instructed and nobody came out. I went inside and the person was on the phone and continued his conversation to the end and then just said where’s the key. No people skills at all.
