I reserved a vehicle online and it stated that if my vehicle was not available, I would get a $50. credit. y vehicle was not available and was told that the person who brought the vehicle back late was fine $50. Needless to say I was lied to and will NOT rent from Uhaul EVER again. The process was lengthy and I feel I was taken advantage of.

all went well - if a client is getting the refrigerator dolly Uhaul should give the client a few blanket covers. Otherwise all good and should only charge .50 cents a mile

Very friendly service. I drove to Kahului instead of renting from Kihei just because they were much nicer. I dealt with three different people between purchasing boxes, arranging the rental, and then coming in to pick up the truck. Everybody was very nice to work with. I definitely recommend them. After-hours drop-off was very easy, as well.

Very efficient!! Truck was by front door ready to go. The Kahului uhaul location was having its first day from moving across their big building and you wouldn’t have known it. This is my third time renting here. They are always on it!

This is the WORST location I have rented from. Very unprofessional. I may never rent from U-haul as a company again due to the treatment/ neglect from this location. I dropped off a truck I rented (I have to rent trunks often for work) before 9am. I discovered I likely left a set of very important keys in the truck (center council/ radio cup holder area). I called U-haul several times and left messages requesting a call back to confirm I did or did not leave my keys in the truck. I also sent massages through the websites chat and massaging service requesting a call. I called throughout the day from 9:30- 3:30pm. I run a business, there is no possible way that no employees or managers has less than 5 minutes to follow up with a customer. This is ridiculous. I did try to go to the location after work (I left early as the location is 25 miles away) and they closed 5 minutes before I got there just after 5pm (early closing hours are not posted on line). The employees and I saw each other in the parking lot and they just sat there (in the parking lot) making sure I left. I still don't have my keys. There are plenty of truck renting options, I don't need this level of disrespect. U-haul has a real employee/ management problem in Kahului/ Dairy Rd.

Only the manager seemed to know what to do and how to get around issues with the computer program and an order that would not complete. When she was out sick, other employees had to call her at home in order for her to complete transactions. Information also was not communicated to me in a timely manner.

I had a very bad experience especially with one of the workers at the Kahului location. I don't know her name but she is an overweight local young woman who was working when I went there to drop off my U Box on the 24th. All of this is on video, as the area where I was standing has a camera right on it, so this can be verified. When I arrived, she was on the phone on a personal call where she was trying to make a payment for something. When I walked in, she did not even acknowledge that I was there, even though I was standing right in front of her and I know that she saw me. She stayed on the phone call for at least 15 minutes, maybe even longer, without even acknowledging me, and there was no one else working, so after an entire day of packing boxes into the U Box, my blood pressure was already going up from her initial rudeness. After she got off the phone, she did not even apologize for making me wait. Her demeanor was very indifferent, as though I was bothering her. I chose a lock for my U Box, and three times the machine did not process my payment (not because of anything wrong with my card, because either she did something wrong, or there was something wrong with the system. Again, no apology for the inconvenience, just lets do a cash sale instead. My brother in law, who is the one who packed the U Box, told her that the top latch was not latching closed and that the top of the box was open. I also told her that the lock was not able to go through the middle latch because it was not aligned properly. So that means 2 out of 3 of the latches were not secure. Her comment was "that should be fine". I told her, no that is definitely not fine that 2 out of 3 of the latches are not closing. I told her that I am paying $4,000 for this thing and it has to travel across the ocean and across the country so it needs to be secured. She gave me a nasty look but then called another worker ("Keeks"), who knows how to secure these things. Keeks was extremely helpful, pleasant and an excellent worker. He took off the two latches that were not aligned properly and realigned them, as well as showing me that he was going to install some other metal plates. I told him that since it was only the 24th and the U Box wasn't going to leave until the 26th, I was going to go through some more things at home and see if I could fit some more things in the U Box the next day, since there was still a little space left in there. He asked me if he should secure the metal plates or not. I said well, I am not positive that I'll be coming back tomorrow. So he suggested he would secure them and then if I come back the next day, he would take them back off so that I could get more items into the box. The next day, I called the location to tell them I did plan on going back there to load more things. I asked when my deadline was for getting things into the U Box. He told me they close at 7, so as long as I was there by 6:30, that should be good. I did go back with some more things
