Don CMade an online reservation, then was contacted by UHaul to say that the vehicle I had rented wasn't going to be available despite the web site saying it was. Their solution was for me to drive an hour to another town to pick up the vehicle, drive an hour back to use it, drive an hour to return the vehicle and then drive an hour back to my home. Given it was a 6 hour rental, that made absolutely no sense. They declined driving the vehicle to where I had scheduled to rent it. Then, the only vehicle which was available cost an additional amount and not willing to rent to me at the lower rate. So I ended up having to rent a larger vehicle at a higher cost despite making a reservation for a smaller, cheaper vehicle on the web site. The vehicle I ended up with had the engine light on, indicating a need for some service. Fortunately, I only needed it for about about 10 miles and was able to return it before anything happened. The location was fine. New guy learning how to execute a rental contract, but they were pleasant and helpful at Mac's.

Tim VOur rental started out bad. We were supposed to pick up a 20 ft truck at OACOMA, SD, but Riverview Chevrolet (for the 3rd time straight disappointed…first time-wrong size trailer, 2nd time didn’t have a trailer size needed (so got diverted to Winner, SD), and 3rd time didn’t have truck for me (so got diverted to Huron, SD (1.5 hrs away)). Huron was great, though, and took care of me…very professional.
