Awesome place to rent moving equipment. Mgt., employees, are awesome people very respectful, makes you feel like you have been taken care of with the upmost professionalism.
Fuel was not at marked level, when I went back Inside to ask employees to change it, they spoke among themselves and said ya ok it's fine just mark it on your sheet. Unprofessional. Disappointed.
While traveling home, the rear door came open even though it was locked. The door went up to where I could not initially reach it to pull it back down. We sat on the side of the highway for twenty minutes and tried to reach roadside assistance. I would call your roadside assistance a joke but we are not laughing. No one ever answered the phone. We finally were able to reach the general manager from the pick up point and he told me what to do. I was able to close the door and zip-tie it closed. FYI - A long-necked lock allows the door lock to slide too far up the lock to where the whole locking mechanism unlocks..
Nothing, everything was smooth.

When I returned the vehicle the price went from $65 to $109 and clerk never sad a word that pride went up wouldn't that be just. Courteous to let me know that sure I should have looked at the receipt but I didn't
I was charged for 3 extra days that I did not request but didn't realize it until after I was out of the store because the clerk simply handed me the paper without going over it with me. Also didn't like that I put in my card information and drivers license info online to avoid having them being touched/touching the key pad at the store just to be told that I had to give him my drivers license info and that I had to re-insert my card in order to pay.
Make the online portal easier to manage. Too many things just to reserve a trailer/truck just to have to repeat it all on site
When everything hinges upon one simple truck reservation being there as promised, U-Haul online reservations system cost me 10x more than a truck rental. After arriving on time to pick up my 26 foot truck that was reserved several days earlier, the store point had no record of my reservation. I ended having to start the process anew....like I had never made reservations, and finding a smaller truck I had to drive across town for. This cost me moving crew time and a costly extension of additional house rental costs from not being able to move all my belongings. Knowing what I know about running a global service industry business, there would be a few heads rolling due to incompetence. But some mouth breathing employees of U-Haul will probably get their bonuses on time this year, while their customers get the orange shaft. What can U-Haul do to improve for the next customer? Get rid of useless employees and antiquated systems. What will get done ??? To a business that has top side problems, there is no solution...except to saddle the lower level employees with the task of over apologizing. To any consumer in his right mind, depend and pay for any rental truck from any other provider, not matter the cost increase. It will end up costing you less in money, time s d aggravation.
I was called about an hour to my pick time and referred me to a longer distance with about 11 miles more than the actual mileage and distance that we were originally was supposed to pick up the truck. We ended up paying about $20 more . I don't really care about the money but the poor service. I do appreciate the help of the young man and the location in I 10 E Houston.
I got a UHAUL truck that leaked from the roof and damaged all my boxes and personal items.
The app did not work,to return the truck.
I went in and told the guy that rented me the truck that it was reading for a low tire and he said it was a sensor. I told him I was uncomfortable and he said it was OK to use. As I was using the transmission began to slip and then check engine light and the transmission light then came on. When I returned I told the 2 guys working and they said that the person that rented me the truck was the manager. This made me even madder that a manager would rent this truck to anyone. You are lucky I got the truck and myself back in one piece. At this point, I not even sure it I would use you again and as you see I do rent some trucks
