Equipment was clean, however the box truck’s rear door was not functioning properly. It seems that the pulley on the driver’s side was broken making it very difficult to lift the door open or lower it and shut it. Location was closed as well, so I could not speak with anyone on sight. Other than that, the rental experience was relatively easy and straightforward.
anthony cWe drove over an hour to pick up the rental only to find they never placed the key in the correct lock box. It was a Sunday so there was no one at the location to assist. We called their phone number m, no answer. We called U-Haul and had to wait 20 mins on hold. Luckily, the U-Haul call taker suggested we try box 1. The people at advanced car care had mistakenly placed it in a different box. ( they placed box 1, we were assigned box 2). We could continue our move but it set us back an hour which impacted the people helping us move as well. So thank you U-Haul for helping remedy but that location was a nightmare as an auto mechanic and now I know not to trust them for this service either.
Melissa FTruck has been at location for at least 1 1/2 weeks since last snow storm. Front tire was dead flat and hand truck I paid for was not there. Proprietor couldn’t care less and said all I could do was call UHaul. Took 2/1-2 hours for service. Got home too late to pack truck and completely messed up my schedule.
Donald SThis was a life saver to find this place / location so close by and with availability for the truck size I needed at the last minute.
