This was the best customer service experience we have had, and we used this facility two days in a row. The female associates who helped us were personable, kind, and patient which was so refreshing after an arduous move. They were model employees, and I hope they get a bonus because it is rare to find those genuine qualities in customer service. Additionally, this facility was super clean, and we love the idea of the "donation boxes." Uhaul has it goin on at this location! Thank you for supporting us during this transition!

I dropped my trailer off after hours and the only place drop off was on a hill, which didn't seem like a good place to drop it off. We had to drive around to find a good place to drop the trailer off.

I have been waiting hours for someone to return my call about my credit card being charged 2 times for one rental and the 2nd charge is $233.04 and is showing we put over 400 miles in the van in 4 hours. That’s impossible as we do not drive over 100 mph. There is an indicator light on in the van that doesn’t allow you to read the odometer. Additionally, I emailed the manager hours ago and have received no response. Bad customer service!!!

The young lady at the Hickory location was extremely helpful to my needs. She ensured that the truck was clean and ready on time. However, the overall RESERVATION process needs attention. I called a few days before pickup to make sure that the truck would be ready...i was told by central reservations, that the truck MAY NOT be at this location and I would have to go somewhere else to pick it up...WELL, this is why one makes a reservation...To pick up at desired location.......I was told it MAY NOT be there....UNACCEPTABLE....but the young Lady in Hickory, called to make sure that it was there at scheduled time.

i have used this location before without a problem but this time was different. when I got to the location there were two people working they instructed me to do an online check in on my phone. I asked if they could just do the check in like usual but they told me this is how it is done now. I had to end a conference call I was on, create an account, change my location settings, while they were sitting there with keys in their hand telling me no one else seems to have a problem with the process. I am 32 years old and obviously use technology everyday. What if a 80 year old who has a flip phone wants to rent a truck comes in? they just can't rent one? To top it off- after I go my truck number on the check in she gave me my keys and told me I was good to go. About an hour later she called me and told me I hadn't finished the online check in and asked me to complete it asap. Then she called me back 10 minutes later and told me she had completed the application for me. That seems like a legal mess because I am sure there are some waivers in there she signed for me. This is a customer service failure on all levels. If the online check in really is the only way customers can pick up equipment, thats a terrible idea because everyone doesn't have an iPhone. I feel like it was false advertisement it says one price like $29.99 and we only used the uhaul for not even a full 24 hrs. And it was in town. We ended up paying almost 80 bucks for what? Environmental fee,insurance,pay the lady an Xtra fee for even doing it, and in and on 6 different things we paid for in the receipt and a full tank of gas. Ridiculous... why can't anything these days be as advertised so many companies do this its advertised as one thing to get u.in the door and a whole nother price at the end. THANKS
