Why are you trying to charge me for an extra day when I turned in the truck within two days. I picked up the truck at 1:30 pm Friday and turned the truck in Sunday at 6:30 pm. I GAVE the keys to the attendant, the business was still open. I saw him checked the truck in while I was leaving.

The time to pick up a truck is too long. Too many people picking up trucks at peak times with too few agents is the first problem. The second problem is the slowness of the program used for the purchase. Finally, the time for calling the reference phone numbers lengthens the process considerably. I have rented trucks the last 3 weekends and the time to perform the pickup is 30-45 minutes in each case. The people are good as is the equipment.

Have more service people available, had to wait a long time and had already reserved my vehicle. The man was working as fast as he could . Some people just needed to buy boxes , maybe it was just that day .

U-Haul needs to employ more then one person to help customers. The single employee that helped me did a great job, but They were helping a line to the door from the moment I got there and left. I had many questions being a first time customer and only a couple got answered. I left more confused then I came.

I rented two furniture dollies. They gave me one utility dolly that was completely useless to me. I shouldn’t have to pay for those since I didn’t get them. I injured my back moving heavy furniture because some employee doesn’t know the difference in a utility dolly and furniture dolly. Ridiculous.

To eliminate the process time. The service provider should not have to ask the same questions as you previously answered on the initial request online and over the phone prior to coming in for pick up.

The gas tank was on 3/8 of a tank when I received the truck and I returned it with 1/2 a tank of gas. That is MORE gas than I received it with and yet I was charged an additional $10.50 for gas. Someone needs to work on their math skills. Checking out was a joke, we reserved the uhaul weeks in advance yet for some reason it took an hour to get checked out. Also we returned the truck at 7pm, 2 hours before scheduled, the doors were locked despite 2 women being inside the building looking at us. No one would come out and tell us where to park it or do a walk around or note the milaeage or gas use, so we parked it in front of the building and put the keys in the drop box which made me very uncomfortable. Then I received a phone call from one of the ladies at 4pm the next day asking when we were going to return the uhaul........ Very unprofessional and unorganized.

Uhaul has gone down hill!!! Awful experience... If anyone took notes look at how I was treated AFTER I Had A CONFIRMATION ONLINE!!! I will NEVER use Uhaul again!!!

At pick up point, NO instruction was given. The young man pulled the truck around and simply walked back inside! We were not shown how to adjust side-view mirrors. About 30 minutes away from pick-up, realizing that the driver could not safely use the side-view mirrors to observe traffic in adjacent lanes, we stopped and made MULTIPLE calls to U-Haul concerning the mirrors. NO ONE knew how to adjust them. After an hour of phone calls, we turned around and went back to the pick-up point only to be told by the same young man that handled the rental that “the mirrors do not adjust”. When it was pointed out to him that the instructions in the cab read “before driving, adjust mirrors”, he said “ oh, we put those in all of the trucks”. We saw an allen- wrench access hole at the end of the mirror but no one at U-Haul recognized this as the means of adjustment. We traveled on to the home I was moving from feeling unsafe and frustrated. A friend who was helping us move/pack the truck had a set of allen-wrenches and VIOLA, the mirrors were adjusted for the trip to my new home!!! During this ordeal only one UHaul rep (call center nor roadside assitance) had ever DRIVEN a UHaul truck! We had friends/helpers awaiting us at the loading and unloading locations. The delay caused inconvenience to ALL involved!!! PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYESS ON OPERATION OF THE TRUCKS OF ALL SIZES! PLEASE ASSURE PROPER INSTRUCTION IS GIVEN TO ALL RENTERS BEFORE TRUCK IS DRIVEN OFF OF LOT.

The young man that waited on me when I returned my U-Haul at the Pass Rd location in Gulfport was extremely professional, well mannered and very polite. (Elton) it was very refreshing to have such a nice experience at the end of a very long and tiring day. I would highly recomend the U-Haul on Pass Rd. In Gulfport Ms to anyone who needs to rent a truck. Very reasonable rates and excellent customer service.

When a customer asks to rent a pickup and they reserve it over the phone with a card but asks twice if they can pay cash when they go to get it and then goes to the location to pick up but is then told they can not is super frustrating and not good business when one employee says one thing and the other says something else. Maybe better training... It for sure made me not want to do business with Uhaul at all.
