100% satisfied with uhual employees. I had to switch the moving date for two times and gone so easy. Unfortunately, they didn’t have enough 26” truck for one way. I had to compromised for 20 inches.

When I rent a car it is implicit that the rate is for a day. When I rent a trailer from UHaul, I am asked if I will have it back by 2pm. I thought that was reasonable and said yes. Turned out I needed to make 2 trips and wasnt able to return it until 6:45. As it turns out that is not an on time return and I was charged a additional $40 for another day. Seems you have a part day charge of $35 and a whole day charge of $40. So I got charged $75 for an 11 hour rental. I was not informed of this policy. I think this is an unethical practice.

Very disappointed in gas fill up process. When I travelled less than 35 km and end up buying and / or being charged for a total of 35 litres, you know this is a rip off. Either charge by the km or use the full tank as the benchmark - but I know that 100 litres / 100 km is not what this vehicle used. Henry Moore

The 24/7 pickup needs some attention. I understand most of the requirements for pickup, but requiring that you call 2 contacts that know the customer is a bit much. People have to work, drive, and have lives. I shouldn't be stuck outside waiting for an agent to contact 2 people that know me just to confirm that I'm the guy on the license. I cancelled the online res and went inside to complete the pickup. They even said I only needed 1 contact (which they had). On top of that, I assumed since I had went inside I didn't need to use the app to return the truck.. Turns out I did need to, at which point I did not have the key to the truck. I had to take a blank photo (for the odometer) and guess how many km's were on it after the fact. I know it's a new service, so please take the above into consideration in your next update.

Was not able to successfully submit my payment via the app. Payment was repeatedly denied. Was on hold with customer service for more than 20 minutes before giving up. Please improve reliability of your app and customer service.

The truck was hard to drive well, as the native speedometer is in mph, making reading your speed in kph very hard. the needle in the kph section is 10kph wide, so you dont ever know you real speed, just a range

I would recommend an update on the phone system whereby a customer knows wether or not they are speaking to people at the exact location or if they are speaking to the call centre. Logistics got screwed up by the call centre and could have been averted . The manager in Guelph was great as was the staff!

having purchasable moving blankets and hand trucks locked into the trucks, taking up space is less a convenience and more of an annoyance. If people want these things, they can get them at the store when they pick up the truck. All they do locked into the trucks is get in the way and take up space that the customer is needing for their load. It smacks of a scam when the only way to get them out of the way is to pay for them, even when you have no intention of using them. Please consider their removal.
