The only thing I didn't enjoy was that I didn't get any assistance with returning the truck.
You over charge on your rentals for an 8 hour day. I was expecting to pay a little over 30$ but the whole cost was way above the expecting price. I am not satisfied!
The only issue I have is with the billing, checked out online, my receipt shows 82.56 My actual charges are 83.56 the way that its charged to the card adds another dollar
Reopen the Prineville store
Website said they opened at 8:30. I arrived at 8:45. Several people ignored me as they entered a chain gate with interaction. Finally asked a second person to get help. Finally told I could come into the office only to be told that she wasn't open yet, give me your key. No checking the truck...nothing. Left me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. It was a convenient location but service was not normal for UHaul at all.
UHaul customer service refused to offer me a partial refund, Robs Auto Repair was not willing to give a partial refund. I will never use UHaul again due to the absolutely horrid customer service of the company. When I told customer reps this in person and over the phone, I was told to "go ahead and use another company". Thus, I will use another company in the future.
The business does not have the required Covid-19 signage posted per the order of the Governor. When I dropped off my rental, several people were there milling around not wearing masks and not practicing social distancing.
I like that Robs auto repair had a pick up truck. If I had not driven by and seen the selection of uhauls, I would have never known this service was so close to home. Thank you, you will be highly recommended.
Was not told of the 20$ after hours service fee. Requested a refund and have not got one.
This location was fine and the people were wonderful this turned out to be the move from hell the call center kept moving things around I wound up driving 80 miles out of my way the door on the rig did not work I want up losing a $1700 piece of furniture off of the back and paid $230 out of pocket to get the door fixed so that I could close it I have reported this and I am waiting for the district manager to call me back not only do I expect this entire move to be credited back I have one more load I have to get that I did not feel secure putting in the truck so now I have to go back to Portland and do this one more time I can use a much smaller truck but I expect that to be free of charge as well or I expect a check for $1700 for my furniture plus the 230 This location was fine and the people were wonderful this turned out to be the move from hell the call center kept moving things around I wound up driving 80 miles out of my way the door on the rig did not work I want up losing a $1700 piece of furniture off of the back and paid $230 out of pocket to get the door fixed so that I could close it I have reported this and I am waiting for the district manager to call me back not only do I expect this entire move to be credited back I have one more load I have to get that I did not feel secure putting in the truck so now I have to go back to Portland and do this one more time I can use a much smaller truck but I expect that to be free of charge as well or I expect a check for $1700 for my furniture plus the 230 that I paid an aircraft mechanic to fix the door so that it would close. People at this location were very professional and very nice I realize it's not their fault that the door didn't work and that the call center kept changing locations I don't want that to be held against this particular location because they were very kind there but this entire situation was a cluster fuck sorry that's about the nicest thing I can say about it but I'll tell you what after having a really bad weekend the attitude of the assistant manager at the location where I returned in Auburn was beyond ridiculous and his attitude made things much worse I'm half tempted to simply go to small claims court tomorrow and file a $5000 claim against Uhaul. He turned a bad situation into something bad but he had full authority to do so so beware....
When I looked it up on Maps it took me to the wrong location. It took me to Stark St. An old location that's no longer there

We assume when renting rolling equipment it is ready to use.
Friendly staff kept me posted on progress. The truck I ordered did not arrive at their location. They went out of their way to find me a truck. Thanks
There was one major problem, both the rep on the phone and the email did not tell me that on Saturday it is a self-check in site. I waited an hour past the pickup time for them to open, only to find out I could have gotten the key from a lockbox. I did use the online check in, but it also did not tell me I could get the key from the box. Finally, the location answered the phone and helped me. I had people waiting to help me move, so this was not good.
Even with little problems they went the extra mile for me.
Unfortunately we were having some trouble with the padlock that held the key. The owner of the site was thankfully there, however before we got a hold of him, I reached out to uhaul help and the person I spoke to was ZERO help. There should be a better way if there is an issue. She just kept saying words to try in the pad lock that made no sense. Very frustrating. I am grateful the owner was there and was able to help. For after hours rentals, I think if there would have been a pad lock issue, uhaul needs to me more accommodating and helpful.
