Was told to have back by 6pm. I got there at 5:30 & had to wait 20/ms. for the lady to look it over. Also didn't like that I couldn't pay in cash. The location I got another truck in June would take cash payment.

The rental rate advertising is deceptive. I can understand the rate being higher than advertised due to fees but it should not be more than double the advertised rate due to fees. That is major deception. Next time we will rent small truck from Home Depot.

This was my first experience renting a U-Haul. There was clearly a miscommunication between myself and the rep behind the counter. They did not tell me that is was 'not' a 24 hr rental and that I would be charged for a 2nd day if the truck was not returned by the "estimated time" nor did they tell me that if I called and requested the truck a little longer that I would be automatically charged for a 2nd day. Needless to say, I was not happy when I was handed the invoice. The rep did not go over the bill with me. I had to ask her what each charge was for and only then did she tell me that I was being charged for an extra day. That is when I was informed of what my credit card would be charged whether I agreed with the charges or not. I was livid to say the least and got even more upset when I was told that she did not have the authority or the capability to refund charges that I did not agree with or wanted to dispute then and there. I then told to call an 800 number to resolve the issue. Not until I asked more questions was I told that her manager could discuss these issues in 3-4 days once she was out of 'required' meetings and available. I work in customer service and I would never treat a new or existing customer in this manner. There is no reason why I could not address these issues with someone immediately that had the authority to resolve the situation. Believe me, I will pursue this as far as I have to whether it’s directly with the U-haul in Greenville, SC or with corporate. This scenario is a prime example on how to ‘not keep’ new and existing customers.

The rates are expensive. The staff was great upon pick up although 2 hours before return time the lady was calling my phone every few minutes and rushed thru the return process like we were just a number. Very poor customer service with her. She didn't even allow me time to remove my phone and vehicle keys before she rushed in as soon as I excited the truck to inspect.

Your rental pricing confirmation from the agents at your call center in Phoenix did not match what the agent at the local pickup location quoted. It was disappointing for the local agent to charge a $10 safety fee because it was a leased vehicle. This felt underhanded. I realize it is not the agent's fault, but it discourages renting from UHaul in the future.

I was having a very stressful move. I called after making my reservation to ask for a later time. Lisa told me I couldn't because the truck was reserved after my appointment. I was rushing to get everything packed when Lisa called me back to advance the other reservation cancelled and to take my time. She adjusted my reservation and she also gave me a reminder call one hour before the truck was due, to let me know I would be charged another reservation if I was not back on time. I'm happy to report I did make it and Lisa was a blessing every step of the way. She went over and above. Thank you so much! Uhaul on Roper Mountain road!

The lady did not explain the contract very well rushed me out and I did not ask for the van for 4 hours, I was told that after I got to this location. When I returned the van I was not given a bill I was told I would receive a email copy, which I have yet to receive. When I made the reservation I was told that I would receive a email verification with the address of your facility. I had to call back to get the address . So in conclusion you can see why I would never recommend to anyone that they US this facility or for that matter U Haul.

As I told the girl that I turned in the truck to this morning, I did not take the Appliance Dolly so the $10 charge should be removed from the bill. I got an email with the bill which said if I had a problem to contact an email. When I replied, the email address was unknown.
