I was in the Grove Rd Facility for over an hour trying to pay for the enclosed trailer. Many customers came and went while they charged my card 2 times and still didn’t finish my contract. The field manager was there and after an hour an hour they changed registers and finally got me down the road. They said they’d ask about getting me a discount or return of my rental and nothing has been done yet. The guys are not very dignifying to clients. They are die hard Carolina Gamecock fans. They shouldn’t drag someone else’s team like the one I was wearing through the mud while I’m trying to pay you to rent your product. Keep it professional.

What a Mess! Couldn't find keys to truck assigned to me. Next truck showed in one part of computer. Finally send me out with keys in K-1. Keys dont fit. My keys went to truck in the middle. So they had to come out and back out three trucks to get mine out!

I was told I had to put gas back where it was when I rented the cargo van or pay $4 a gallon, SO I ended up putting alittle more in the gas tank than when I picked it up and the mileage went over 1 mile as I turned into.your location and I asked the salesperson since I put more gas in the tank than there was at pickup would he not charge me an additional .79cents-- he said unfortunately no I would be charged!!--WOW AND YOU CHARGED TAX ON THE .79CENTS!!!- YOU CHARGED MY CARD .84CENTS-- YOU WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN AND I WORK FOR A HUGE MEDICAL HOSPITAL AND ILL MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Cut truck off and went to start it back up and it would not start up. After letting it surefire almost 20 moms it started up but had a hard time running. This happened 2 times and caused me to be late returning the truck. And the gas situation. It was barely off a sliver of a line and he told me to go put more gas in or it would be $25. Didn't say anything g about the issues I had with it not starting.

We told the drop off location about the trailer lights not working properly. They said they would be fixed. Hopefully, they will be! We were following our trailer for the entire 4 hour trip, but that is the only reason we felt OK to drive it on the interstate. These units should always be inspected ahead of time to make sure they are in proper working order BEFORE the time of the rental.

Only complaint I have is when I picked the vehicle up there was a heavy smell of smoke. I’m not a smoker so it did bother me a little. Other than that everything was great!

The vehicle that was provided as the rental truck seems to have a transmission issue. When first starting from a stop the truck did not shift from low gear for a long time and very hard shift when it did. This happened on hills and level ground.

2/25/2019: Comments about the rental. 1) Tried to rent on the previous Saturday (2/23/2019) from the u-haul on Roper Mountain Road. I wanted to rent a cargo van, but they didn't have any available They eventually said that I could rent a 10' Box Van for .79/mi for 100 miles plus .29/mi for the rest of the miles. This plus 19.xx base charge. They said the truck was available the next morning at 9:00 AM. 2) Went to their shop on Roper Mountain Road on Sunday morning (2/24/2019) at 9:00 AM (I was in a hurry and this was when the shop opened on Sunday); the clerk there said the cost was 19.xx plus .79/mi for all miles. I objected to this saying that the clerk on Saturday said something different. He pleaded ignorance. Since my estimated distance was 330 miles, this was a huge difference in the total cost. After working with the clerk, he figured out that I could rent a cargo van from the Grove Road shop for the originally quoted amount. 3) Drove to the Grove Road office (adding more than 10 miles one way to my distance being traveled). Rented a cargo van that the clerk said was on the grass on the west end of the lot. Couldn't find it (after wading in mud trying to identify the van) and went back to the east end of the lot where it was found. 4) The van had a marketing display in the front window that I had to remove and place in the show room. Started the van and found an indication of low air pressure on one of the tires. Went back into the show room and mentioned this. The clerk went outside and checked the air pressure on all four tires and found that the right rear tire was 30 pounds low (should have been 80 PSI but was 50 PSI according to his gauge). He said that his shop didn't have a working air pressure pump and recommended that I go the the QT nearby to finish inflating the tire. I agreed since I was in a hurry and didn't want to rework the paper work for a different unit. 5) While driving to the QT (one block away), I heard some terrible rattling and banging in the cargo area. I tried to use the QT air pump to increase the pressure in the tire, but found out that the QT inflater didn't have an air gauge (meaning I had no idea how much pressure was being applied) and the sign on the air pump indicated that the maximum air pressure available was 60 PSI. Since I didn't have a gauge I gave up on this strategy. I should have gone back to the U-Haul shop, but I was in a hurry and knew that I had a gauge at home, so I drove the van home. 6) While at the QT, I investigated the noise from the cargo area: turned out that the bracket that keeps the lift jack in place was missing the nut to hold the jack in place; as a result, the jack was swinging about and banging against the walls of the cargo area. I moved the jack to a safe place to eliminate this problem 7) After loading the van at home, I tried to use my air gauge, but it wasn't working. After fooling with it for awhile, it started working. I waited in line to get my reservation for 30 minutes and left with the vehicle almost an hour late. When I left I received a text that I had 23 hour to return it when it should have been 24 hours till I had to return it. The roof had a leak in it when we got it ( it has been raining for 3 days straight at this rate) and the back was covered in dirt and mud tracks. That was my first and last time rent From your company. Also I had to go an additional 30 minutes farther due to the fact that all the vehicles at a different location were rented out by a major company.
