This was my second truck rental to move from 100 miles away. The first rental, my movers used blankets to wrap furniture that didn't get in the first truck. They made me buy the moving pads even though I promised to return them when I picked up the second load. Nope, no accommodating that request.

Your mileage rate is very high and ended up being 3 times as much as the truck cost. I'll never use you again and I'll make sure to inform everyone the truck rate is just a teaser rate.

It's a minor thing, but my truck had standing water in it before he gave it to me. I had to wipe it down with three towels. I know it's southern California and we were in the middle of a 2-day storm, but I had to take time to do extra work before we started moving boxes. I'm not sure if the door was open overnight during a rainstorm or if he just hosed it down before he gave me the keys.

Hi there, Thank you for sending the receipt of my rental. I was just talking to a person earlier over the phone (unfortunately I got disconnected twice because of the horrible reception in my area) in the service department regarding $50 guarantee that I'm supposed to receive from having to go pick a A 10 truck at a different location than my reservation. I talked to this representative Dave on Friday and he confirmed me that I would be receiving $50 guarantee for that. I just wanted to make sure on this. Can you please kindly advise on this? I hate being charged for a full day !!! When returning a van back sure I was 1hr late but charge half day ?? Full day should keep it until tomorrow, , you suck on that, for what you charge I can get cargo van at Enterprise cheaper? ?

Since my first location didn't have my reserved truck on the day I was to use it, I was sent to this location, 20min away. They had a truck. But no furniture pads. The lady in the office was as helpful as she could be considering the situation.

When I made my reservation it was to be at the location across the street from the home that I was moving from. My reservation included U-Haul movers at the destination. They were to meet me at 3 PM. U-Haul decided to change my pick up location to 4 miles away from my residence I was moving from. In addition, my pick up time change from 7am to 9 AM. The location I was to pick up the truck did not even open until 8 AM. I arrived there at 7 AM to see if I can get my vehicle and stay on time with the movers who were loading the truck and at my destination 2 hours away. Needless to say, no one was there at 7 AM. I waited till 8 AM and a female employee arrived at the entrance gate. She was very helpful. The male employee at this facility was upset and told me that my pick up time was 9 AM. I explained my situation and how all my plans were in jeopardy. I did receive the 26 foot truck and I left. Once I arrived at the location I was moving from the movers had the vehicle 75% loaded when I had to move the truck to let another vehicle get out of a parking space. However, the battery was dead in the truck. A friend of mine jumped the battery with his vehicle. At this point I left the truck idling in the middle of the street. I feared to shut it off. I spent the next 20 minutes on hold to speak with a U-Haul raodside service representative. One hour later roadside service arrived and I explained the situation. I do not know what the mechanic did. He never approached me and explained what was wrong with the vehicle or if he fixed it. However, when I went out to the truck he wasn't there and the truck was still idling in the middle of the street. I was easy to locate the movers were going back-and-forth into my place and out of my place. They knew where I was. So, I let the truck idling the middle of the street while we finished packing it for the next hour and a half. I drove the truck for the next two hours to my new location fearing that the battery would die at any time. I was afraid to shut the truck off, fearing that it would not start again. Because of the morning delays the U-Haul movers at my destination did not want to work anymore because it was getting too late in the day. I could understand their dilemma. They offered to unpack the truck at 7 AM the next day. The downside was I could not sleep in my own bed at my new home. There was no bed set up. In addition, I was to have the truck at the U-Haul facility dropped off at 9 AM in the morning. This now served another problem. I contacted U-Haul and a gentleman arranged for me to have the truck dropped back off at 1:30 PM. So, my wife and I had to find a hotel. In the morning I arrived at 7 AM and both workers were there ready to go and did a great job. I really appreciated Rick and his partner Tony. So, in conclusion, this was a move from hell. In changing my U-Haul reservations to a later time created a domino effect throughout the day. Having a 26 foot truck that wasn't well



The manger here was extremely nice. The only thing is I would have liked to know the total of my entire trip.
