The drop off location was extremely crowded and appeared to be understaffed. Too many vehicles awaiting processing. Only advantage was it was close to the final destination so it was fairly convenient.

I asked about the price difference and if I could get credit for the extra gas I paid for which is 1/4 tank over the required. The attendant was very short, and said I would have to call the manager the next day. This could be because I arrived right before their closing time (8PM), but still I couldn't say I received good customer service.

I the customer prepaid for the truck. I hired Mr. Davis to move my family. I was told by c/s to go to your location at 250 S.E 10 ave Gainesville Fl. I waited from 8am until 10:30 am no truck, no one showed up. I called reservation. I spoke to c/s who wanted to reserve and make new reservations at A much higher price than I was originally quoted. I ask her why was I being charged more when it wasn’t my fault that the location I was given by reservation rep. was an abandoned building. I arrived at 8 am and waited for the uhaul truck to get here. She said there was nothing she could do. I ask for a supervisor. I was put on hold to only be hung up on. I called customer service very professional and spoke with supervisor whom reserved me A truck at 802 N. Maine st Gainesville Fl. I made my payment with her. Mr.Davis arrives at uhaul only to be told that he can’t pick up truck due to non payment. I had to call several time final got to another professional Ms. Jamie who was capable of sending me a copy of payment through email. I went back to uhaul on North Main Street only to be told the truck hadn’t been paid for. He showed her proof of payment and than it also was sent over by Ms. Jamie. I pick up truck approximately 3 pm to start moving. Original truck pick up was 8 am. Please review tapes.

After I drove the truck a few miles, the check engine light came on. I called the number and then took it back to the place I got it which was only a few miles away. An employee came out and checked it but was vague and couldn't explain why the light came on if there was nothing wrong. They said to drive the truck and it would be fine. The check engine light came back on after I stopped the truck and remained on the rest of the trip. The truck functioned fine but it continued to worry me. Would have been nice to get a more complete answer about what was happening or at least have gotten a different truck.

Customer service rep told me that I could drop the vehicle at any of 3 locations near my house. When I went to one of the locations they told me I could not drop it off there. They sent me to another location 30 minutes away. It was very inconvenient for me. Will not rent with Uhaul again

A previous customer left a frame with loose glass behind the passenger seat. Since this cut one passenger's hand, I would recommend checking the cab as well as the cargo space for articles l left behind.

The only comment we would make is about the return process. We rented a 5X8 covered trailer in Tampa and we were told we could drop it off at ANY UHaul location in Gainesville. Three locations later in Gainesville we finally were able to drop the trailer off at the Main Street location. And the location where your online service told us to go off 13th, the staff refused the drop off because they said they had been cited for UHauls on the grass. They made NO accommodation to assist us rather than tell us to go to the other side of town with the Uhaul after we clearly advised this was the drop off location your website directed us to. A company your size needs to be more diligent about issues with locations and updating your website so that your customers are not inconvenienced.

Drop off location had horrible customer service. I was told that they couldn't accept the trailer and had to drive across town to another location. Your logistics problems should not be your customers problems. I am not your inventory relocation service. I will be disputing my credit card charges as no concession was made for me to be your delivery service.

Shaun Davidson was AWESOME. We delivered a truck and tow from Denver, CO end of July/beginning of Aug 2018 and Shaun was hands-down an excellent manager. He accommodated some unusual requests and was so polite and respectful. He definitely made me feel welcome in Gainesville, FL and was really helpful with both returning the tow one day, and then the truck a week later... he was even able to advise on storage. Definitely recommend work with Shaun at 802 N Main St in Gainesville, FL.

The uhual representative that I had on Saturday afternoon was great very attentive, knew his job and acted as if he wanted to be at work. On Sunday the young man that I had seem to act as if I disturbed his lunch, was attentive, gave a very passive aggressive attitude toward anything that was said..during the transaction he was on his personal cell phone either reading text messages or whatever, then once we went outside to look at the truck for damage we were walking around pointing out things and he wasn’t marking down anything..if he didn’t want to be at work that day he should have stayed at home..
