overall my experience with uhaul was poor. This location helped but the run around from the time I booked online to the time I picked up was awful. I booked on a Thursday or Friday for pick up on the following Monday. On Sunday (2 days after I booked) the office called me 3 times to get me to change from a 9 hour window of use to 24 due to the hours of the location I had picked. Finally the next day morning of pickup no one is at the location, gate locked and no one answers. I called the number I got through text to get a voicemail is full. I called the Hickory location that had called me on sunday and they helped me find another truck a few min away that had a flat tire, then the next 10' truck we got was not clean. The run around on this was super frustrating and put me very behind on the day. I expressed how upset I was to the hickory branch to get a simple were sorry. Not sure how the first location can not just open when you have reservations. Poor service if you ask me

The staff wouldn’t answer the phone during normal operating hours. When I went to the store, the attendant had left with only a little over an hour before closing. We were unable to rent any blankets for our move. Also the truck wreaked of marijuana and my wife found particles of marijuana all over the driver side door. The high beam headlight didn’t work and I was told by the attendant in Gaffney that she was unable to provide any assistance and that I would have to call roadside service... really? For a lightbulb? Pitiful.

I have made reservations at this site 3 different times and all 3 times, the item I reserved is not on the lot and they just say, well you can have your money back and you can call customer service. they have never had any intention of helping me resolve the issue I was in because of a time constraint. The second time this happened, the person working was very mean because it was almost time for them to close and didn't care about the situation. This just happened to be the same person that just shoved me out the door when they didn't have the equipment.

The truck broke down within 200 miles of departure, costing a two day delay and a week's pay as I was scheduled to begin a new job on Wednesday. Due to this delay, I will not be able to start until next Wednesday. Roadside assistance was excellent during this ordeal and Customer Service is stepping up. I'm, naturally, disappointed with the upkeep of your equipment.

Make sure that the customer know that if they are paying with cash that they will have to pay $60.00 deposit for a trailer renter and then when they return it they will get the difference back.

Remind the customer of what size electrical plug the trailer has. My truck has a 7-way plug, your trailer has a 4-way. I have an adapter, but it was in another truck, so I had to buy one. Had I been reminded I could have brought what I needed. Thanks

I got an email telling me to pick up my truck at the Westar gas station in Cowpens. When I arrived the gas station worker told me Uhaul was closed there that day. That could have been really bad. However the dispatch in Spartanburg was extremely helpful and i was able to locate a close by location with another truck within 10 minutes.
