When first making my reservation, I selected manual pick up at the McEver storage location. My pickup location was then changed a day in advance to the Gainesville tire shop. While this is just a minor inconvenience on its own, I do believe I should have been given additional mileage to accommodate for the unexpected change. However, the manual pickup I had selected was also changed to the mobile pickup without my knowledge. While trying to do the mobile pick up, I was asked to be sent a “one time code to access my account. Every time I was sent one of these codes, if it was sent at all as some of the codes never sent at all, they would not work and it would say it failed to verify my code. After calling customer support I was then told to try the website instead where I ran into the same issues with both the text message verification and the email verification. My reservation was then moved once again to a separate location 10 minutes away, again with no accommodation, with manual pickup assistance. Once arriving to the grocery express location, I was asked to do the ID verification through the U-Haul website and once clicking the link to do so the website would not load. All In all it was an absolute disaster and I dread having to do this again in the future.
