Inwas double billed for the move and have called multiple times to correct the issue and have spent 15 minutes on bold each time and on several occasions was disconnected after wAiting 10 or more minutes for a customer support agent

The person at the front dealt with a customer for over an hour. I spent more time trying to return my u haul truck than I spent unloading my truck. Finally after waiting there an extremely long time, the rep told me that a man outside would take care of my return. If he would have said this in the beginning I could have saved a couple hours out of my day. My u-haul experience was a stressful hassle. My date to move in my home got delayed and I would have been charged over 200 extra dollars because I had insurance on my truck and also was being charged a lot for having it more days. WhencI tried to take the insurance off for the remainder says I was told I couldn’t, and that extra money was adding up when all the truck would have been doing was sitting there. Luckily I was able to return the truck earlier than expected. I hated my u- haul experience and the guy that was working the front counter was incompetent and rude.

You can improve by hiring people that are more concerned about the customer. Sometimes, I know that things can happen beyond your control, but you still be aware of, and interested in the customer's delimma. I have been a customer there on many occasions and seems like the computers are quite often messing up, but more disheartening is the "I don't care about you" attitude that you receive. If you don't care for me, if you don't care for my predicament, then you don't need my business!

The truck we picked up, someone had smoked in it, it smelled of smoke, and there was a cigarette butt and ashes in ash tray. They messed up on our drop off location making more work for the people in Fort Myers.

Wait times get a little long for picking up and returning. A lady standing next to me who was also wanting to return a vehicle said she was waiting in line a while before I stood behind her. Then she said "the system is broken!" I said to her, "You think?" I wish U-haul rates were more uniform. My daughter rented the same size truck in Boone, NC. She got it 19.95 and first 100 miles were free. Mine was 19.95 and .59 cents from the first mile.

Give a flat price for a weekly rental .59 a mile plus gas & daily rental fee with sales taxes is a lot. Enterprise is cheaper with unlimited miles

Front office person was very friendly however the equipment was faulty and can't recommend this location because they might have the same problem as we did. No windshield wipers weren't working at all and we didn't realize that until we were on the Interstate with a fully loaded truck and had to keep pulling over which delayed our travel over 2.5 hours vs a 1.15 hour trip. When I called to tell the people about this complaint they gave me the 800 number to call for the scheduling office and I couldn't get an answer so I called back and on the 2nd time the lady that answered the phone stated that in a rude way they close at 8:00pm as though she didn't want to be bothered. Poor customer service on that end. No compensation was offered for this uhaul rental or anything due to our delay in using this malfunctioning equipment. And the amount of overage miles was still charged. Over the past years I've always had a great experience with UHaul so this was the first of this type of problems I must say.

Overall, Uhaul is a reliable and professional company that I have used many times. Thanks! However, I do not think a gas tank should be issued with a 1/4 tank. It makes it impossible to refill the tank to that level. I think Uhaul rental vehicles should be full and the customer can easily refill the tank. BB assisted me and she was truly helpful with my questions and provided a quick and easy understanding of the rental vehicle's options.

It was a one-way rental, but it's outrageous that U-Haul demands 3 days rental for only a 24 hour need.
